I would love Gimenez but I could see him being apart of the group Simeone considers "Unsellable" like Godin and Koke.

Whatever it is, the club should look to renew the squad before the Espai Barca project's cost explodes. Will be very difficult to scrap together enough to renew the squad if you have to change out several players at once.

Laporte isn't worth the money needed to buy him ,Marquinhos is a pipedream tbh
If we need a young world class CB we need to find our own Marquinhos and do some scouting

The chances of finding our own Marquinhos isn't very big if our scouting record for the 1st team is anything to go by in recent time. Not sure why we've stopped looking at the French market altogether. However is atleast travelling to different countries, watching different games so maybe there's hope now......

I have high hopes from R Tarin, but he's a good few years away from the 1st team if he makes it.

Gimenez is the most realistic but as others mentioned we have to discover our own gems as well. Atleti is having success in the Argentinian and Uruguayan markets yet we only show serious interest in Brazil for some reason rosell. I guess you can count Araujo but he was seen as failing talent at that time that we took a punt on. We can clearly to a lot better in South America on the whole.
