Real is also interested in him.

At this point I'd like to think we have several times the appeal that Real Madrid has. All we see in the Madrid camp is failure, infighting, and bowing to the GOAT that is Ronaldo, whether you think he is or not.

Oh, there's money. I forgot that. Damn...

All the game time Mathieu has got at LB could be given to Rodriguez. And Mathieu has been there quite a few times. Getting rid of Adriano would also help, means +1-3 games a season for Rodriguez. IIRC we don't have a new promising LB in Barca B. Alba also needs more rotations with this schedule, and we can't give it to him due to lack of quality at that position. Alba is 26 and Ricardo is 23, It could be a good duo that pushes eachother further.

Having Ricardo and Alba at the LB, Mathieu, Masche, Pique and XX as CBs and Dani, Aleix and Sergi at RB would be a great back line. Maybe just dreaming, don't know.

Real may want Ricardo Rodriguez but I doubt he would play Second fiddle to Marcelo and Vice Versa here with Alba.

I can only see him moving to a big team that guarantees him being first choice and not a bench player. We will likely go after someone like Villarreal's Adrián Marín to deputize for Alba.

In my opinion we only need a CB (Marquinhos or Laporte) and Denis Suárez.

Attack: Messi, Neymar, Suárez, Munir & D. Suárez (Arda & Rafinha)

Midfield: Iniesta, Rakitić, Busquets, Arda, Roberto and Rafinha (Mascherano & D. Suárez)

Defense: Piqué, Mascherano, Marquinhos or Laporte, Mathieu, Alves, Alba, A. Vidal and Adriano (Roberto)

I wouldn't change much about our team to be honest. Arda and A. Vidal just became available and still needs time to settle in, just like all players before them. All of our players seem to be getting along fantastic and everybody knows their place within the team.

Of Lbs I like Rose (Tot'nam) and A.Moreno (L'pool)... not creme de la creme players but pretty solid in every aspect-specialy shooting (Alba is weak there)...

Would they be expensive?

Don't know about Rose, but I'll kill someone if I see Moreno in a Barca jersey

We need good backup LB far more than new CB. We have more than enough CBs now, good quality too. When Masch or Pique were not playing, we were doing just fine. But when Alba was out we did horribly with Mathieu and Adriano on left. Thankfully he was OK against big opponents, but we need to fix this weakness ASAP. Second priority is backup forward that can play all 3 positions reasonably well. CB is a luxury, might be necessary to get one for the future, but right now we can certainly manage at least 1 season without new one.

I tend to agree with this assessment as well. Sure, 3 of our CBs are kind old but not THAT old for a CB and we have pretty good depth.

I'd say buying someone like Adrian Marin from Villarreal or Jorge from Flamengo as a backup LB and Dembele from Rennes as a forward who can play all positions up front is more important.

We could've gotten him last summer for cheap but going by the article MD posted Lucho, preferred to give Munir and Sandro a shot instead of green lighting the purchase.

Typical Barca. Why even try and sign a player from EPL? The price will be insane.

Hallilovic is not ready to play for us imo. Lots of talent but he's really not an intelligent player. He's very good with the ball at his feet though. I rather take him over Sandro I guess. An experienced good player who doesn't mind riding the bench would be ideal. Either way, if one of MSN is injured the other 2 are still quality enough to carry the offense.

I'm more concerned about CB for the future and second LB since Mathieu is nowhere near as good there, he doesn't have the lungs for it anymore either.

They didn't really get a chance in the first team last time around, did they? Denis Suárez was an important player for Barcelona B and grew as a player at Sevilla and Villarreal, reckon he's our best (read: cheapest) option as a MSN back-up. A young CB (Marquinhos or Laporte) and a replacement for Adriano (José Gayá or Adrian Marín) are priorities next summer. Alen Halilovic didn't impress at Barcelona B, but shows at Sporting Gijon that he's one for the future. He needs a stable environment to develope into a future star, if Sporting won't go down it would be wise to let him stay there for one more season.
