Fair enough, but we need to be smart and go out and sign that kind of player for a reasonable price. He doesn't have to start every week. We tried to do it with Song but he was just the wrong player and we stupidly thought he could be play centre back.
I think the squad needs a physically strong, athletic and quick midfield player who can come in and rotate with Busquets or partner him for certain games or situations. Elneny could have been a good option, but we'll probably try to sign him for stupid money in a couple of years.
Maybe Emre Can at Liverpool.

He won't fit our midfield three, he would probably play at LW/RW. I was just pointing out that Arda Turan won't be missed when Denis joins in the summer. With Iniesta, Busquets, Rakitic, Sergi Roberto, Rafinha and Sergi Samper in midfield and Messi, Neymar, Denis Suárez, Munir and an attacker 'to be named' on the wings there's no need for Arda. We could wait until the summer of 2017 to get our beloved 'world class midfielder'. Priority should be at LB, CB and FWD this summer.

Problem is, after next season (summer 2017) the best possible midfielders that suits our style will be locked up.
Gündogan will be locked up whereas hes a possible sign right now and wouldnt cost to much. Next year hell cost 5 times as much, if available at all.
Pogba will be locked up even more or sold for a huge price to someone with more money than us.
Verratti has always been a fantasy signing and PSG will probably offer him an even better contract to lock him up tighter.
Its pretty much this summerwindow, or well be getting more mediocre midfielders next year.

Yeah ,no players will ever emerge now after this year .football would lose all its talents now and no one would develope to be good midfielder again

SHIT! For realz? Than I guess we're fu***ed. No more talent beside Pogba, Verratti, Gündogan - no younger players not in the spotlight in the whole wide world that we could buy for around 20M before another top club picks them up and we'll be like "ohhh dude, I told you we could have picked up player x or y if we only didn't have all our scouts on Pogba, Verratti or Gündogan". You are right, there are none and we won't see any such players more - they're all gone

There are some promising midfielders coming through in Germany like Weigl and Dahoud and others. Will be interesting to see how they progress. Then it also seem like Pogba is staying another season which will be crucial for him in terms of solidifying himself as a leader and grow in consistency. His second half of the season have been brilliant as he's showing everything he's hyped for, but he need to play like that throughout the season.
So midfielders there will be, and a midfielder we will sign.
But not before 2017. At least that's what I think and what seem plausible.

Just to add to your post ,Weigl,Dahoud,Bernardo Silva,Renato Sanches (specially if Mourinho move to Manu ,doubt will go after him)Rúben Neves,Youri Tielemans,Ćorić,Bazoer are all young midfielders with lots of potential right now and we have been following most of them btw if rumours to be trusted .Jombi can probably add another half of dozen to the list
We also have our own prospects young players ,S.Roberto,D.Suarez,Rafinha,Halilovic,Samper,Kaptoum & Alena .
Nevermind the established players like Pogba,Coutinho ,Pjanić who aren't on the move this summer
And there are always players who came from under the radar to surprise people .Rakitic did that in 13/14 season .Kante this year is another example .
All what we need is only one of them is to emerge into Barca quality and the club to be able to snatch him .obviously not easy as it sounds but points remain the same .there will be always good players to go for .
We don't need just to go after player because we are too afraid he won't be in the market next summer .that is for sure

Dahoud is surely a player to follow ,but even if signed & loaned it will be for M'Gladbach itself .they are actually a big club and close to Villarreal status .
Also with Xhaka most likely departure ,they won't let both to go
