I like him and he could probably be solid as Busquets backup but I think we only need that for one season. Longterm I still believe Samper should be able to take that role but first he needs to get La Liga experience and more regular playing time somewhere else. So I don't think we should really invest around 10M for "one-year loan" of Soriano. Roberto and Masche should cover up for Busquets next season and then Samper takes over with Roberto possibly moving full time to RB.

Bruno Soriano would be a good player for Samper to learn from though, so I wouldn't mind loaning him for one season to Villarreal (possibly as a part of Bailly, Adrian Marin/Jaume Costa transfer) where he could rotate in midfield with him, Pina and Trigueros.

Do you think Jaume Costa's worth going for? He's a good player, but he's been injured so much this season. Samper could be good at Villarreal, especially for their defensive discipline. Watching him with the first team, he had the right ideas but was a little slow doing them. A combination of minutes and just training at a higher level is very necessary at this stage for him.

Yes, his injuries are a bit of concern but I think he could be a good rotation option for Alba and cheaper than the likes of Ricardo Rodriguez or Wendell.

Agree about Samper.

He doesn't, his contract is up in 2017.

In a lot of times ,he had the wrong ideas too . there was times where he basically always in the wrong position whether on defense or offense .
He has talent ,but he has long way to go .might even take longer than a guy like S.Roberto to make impact with 1st team
Would be more interested in Rayo as his 1st club on loan .seem more closer to his level .Villarreal might just be too much for him

Agreed, but I think he could do a little better than Rayo too. Either way he has to be training and playing at a higher level. Not worried about how long it takes him.

That would be worse transfer than Arda. Pjanić has low stamina and barely moves.

We need energetic younger players to balance MSN.

Since Lucho coached him in Roma, that's probably someone he insists on. Maybe the alternative is 30 year old Orellana from Celta Vigo.
