We've been linked with Pjanic every summer for the past 3-4 years. Don't see him joining Barça though, not what we need.

I wouldn't mind Giroud as a no9 sub to be fair. Our lady fans wouldn't be mad about this transfer either I presume.

Can I just say it's a bit late and I may be a bit drunk... but all these rumours are just that, as we don't have any money to spend on them.Even if we sold a few squad players it wouldn't add up to a "marque" signing.

Current wage bills/ demands plus lack of sponsor plus new stadium rebuild = we're skint basically. Not only that but La Masia has dried up leaves us in the shit.

I'm not the only one seeing this right ? Only plus for the future is Roberto as things stand.

On top of that it looks like we're gonna keep signing 29, 30 year old players for high fees.

The board, Robert and Lucho need to think about that and inject some young blood in the squad too, or else their stints are not gonna look as rosy a few years down the road if we struggle with an aging squad hampering our progress.

I dont think we are. We are spending money like drunkards with massive outlays on players looking for their last big contract with zero sell-on value. Only clubs funded by oil billionaires spend this kind of money on players with so little long term value. Thrifty clubs buy players they can keep for a decade. Clubs with lots of money to burn dont have to think about any financial restrictions. At least our behavior in the market doesnt suggest we are skint.

I see us linked with young players all the time and you always hear these reports of Robert liking these young guys and apparently Lucho would approve.

But the recent trend is we also seem to also follow a lot of older players who have a lot of "Experience" that would hit the ground running and would help us win more titles quicker. It works but there's a risk that you sacrifice long term planning and you are stuck with a aging squad and with the new Stadium and Sponsor issues it's not going to be pretty.

This summer window will be key, I read it multiple times before we are looking for a young CB and young LB and a Forward. I would be pleased if we get rid of the dead weight and we find a good Mascherano successor for the LCB spot and a good young backup LB for Alba.

We are getting Denis Suarez back but I'm not really sure what to expect of the backup for Suarez. It will likely be Gameiro, going by the amount of rumors in recent weeks and yeah.... the RB position is puzzling what's the deal? a lot of us thought perhaps Vidal will take the reigns but it seems like he pissed in Lucho's cereal.

I Just can't see Alves playing the Majority of the games anymore next season so who's going to pick up the slack Roberto? or will the Ghost of Vidal make a return.
