Not surprised. I read a report back in February, Neymar was supposedly asking Barto and the board to look into signing Lima.

My issue is he's an attacking midfielder and we already have plenty of them.

So when Robert was in Brazil two weeks ago or so he was not convinced by him? So much for Sport coming up with the stuff of Robert meeting with Luis Enrique and Barto last week to iron out the strategy to sign him.

Sport and MD have been reporting on that rumor for quite some time.

MD said Lucho wants him. but reported we were willing to give Valencia Halilovic and Tello+45 for him. But that was a couple of weeks ago.

Exactly, they have Isco and James unless one of them is going.. but that would be stupid, they are levels above Gomes.

According to what i've read in "Papers of Barca" ( the twitter account ), Barcelona has been following Boufal but isn't interrested in Mahrez because he does not fit the profil Barcelona is looking for.
