If I could choose the cb's, I'd get Benatia and Fazio(Sevilla).

That's a good pair, but IMO Fazio doesn't really complement neither Pique nor Bartra really well. I think a more complementary pair would be Benatia and Musacchio. Though to me honest, they could do a lot worse than Fazio, he'd be a strong option for depth.

For me, give me any combination of:

Hummels
Subotic
Benatia
Musacchio
Fazio

In that order.

What's the story with Musacchio anyway. Did he really renew his contract, or was it all smoke and mirrors from the Villareal president? If he did not renew, he can still be gotten for a decent price.

Its not that we forget how terrible he is when he is off form. . . I am simply dwelling in reality. The fact is there is absolutely no way Pique would get dropped. I just like to be a realists. I hate to get my hopes up and get disappointed.

I don't think Villareal could ask much for Musacchio. Maybe for 12-15m Barca could snatch him, specially if the player ask for a move.
