Thats left for him to decide. He just isn't doing enough ATM.

That's not really fair as he gets a chance to play once every full moon. He was one of our best players in our loss against Granada, played better than Alves has done in a long time.

He definitely can't be our main rightback next year though, and Alves really can't either, he has just performed way too poor the last couple of seasons for us to go into yet another season with him as our main RB. We need a new top-tier RB with lots of experience who Montoya can rotate his minutes with, slowly getting more and more time over the next couple of seasons and hopefully getting ready to be the main starter.

It's just too bad that there are so few available RBs around that are good enough and fit the profile we need. Apart from Cuadrado, what other RBs are there that could be interesting?

He's already in advanced talks with someone isn't he ?

Juventus ?
Marotta (director Juventus): "Alexis rumours? He's a great player but he's at Barcelona now and there's nothing more we can add." [sky]

Well, he's not denying it as he would do if they weren't interested at all. This way of dodging the question makes it seem more plausible that Alexis is indeed going to Juve this summer...

So okay then, we'll most likely have to add a new winger to our already huge headache of possible new signings this summer. How much money would we have to throw at Dortmund for them to let go of both Hummels and Reus the same summer that Lewandowski goes to Bayern for free? 100m+?

That said, they already signed their replacement for Lewa...

If we're selling Alexis, we'd better buy Reus.

Close the deal before selling Alexis, sell Alexis, then make the Reus transfer official.

An important benefit which Reus has over Alexis is that he is both-footed. He is able to cut in and shoot while Alexis is not able to shoot well with his left foot.

Reus isn't both footed and if Barca wanted Alexis to cut in and shoot they'd play him on the left wing

He is still stronger on his right side though so he still wont be as comfortable cutting in as he would be on the left. I'm a huge fan of Reus but I'm not sure of the need for him in this team, especially if he was going to play on the right. Along with Pedro, Alexis is the only player we have who is constantly looking to make runs off the ball. Reus would be yet another player who is looking to play the pass rather than get on the end of it.

He is both footed, of coure he is stronger with his right but he can shoot with his left foot as well, and pretty good.

Why did we let Thiago leave :( we wouldn't have had midfield issues if he wouldn't have left. Huge mistake from the board.
