Yes he is error prone centrally but his speed, size and athleticism can nulify any pacey wingers.

Richards is extremely injury prone (26 appearances in the last 2 seasons), when he has played hasn't been anything amazing, probably has the touch of a brick, and would certainly not "bully his way in past parked buses", him being unremarkable in the final third at best.

This is why teams like Atleti make us look like sissy's we have no physical player and besides he isn't that bad. At a time prior to his injury issues, he was playing ahead of Zabaletta. He definitely won't be a starter but he can be a Plan B type player.

Again? I don't even know what he looks like, I've never wanted him for us.
That's what makes me call him injury-prone, I don't care if he was fit as a fly in 2010 he's kept getting injured and there's no sign he will recover his form.
A plan B right back? What? You don't experiment with the defense in big games, that never helps...

He is terrible and even if fit would be nowhere near the starting line up at Man City.
Richards has the touch of a donkey and must be one of the least technical full backs at any top team in europe.

Richards is rubbish technically, and it would be cringeworthy to see him play alongside our players. The average 12 year La Masia player has far better ball control than him.
