I wonder what's behind the Miranda rumours. Many people (on twitter though) say that Benatia was just a smoke screen to seal the Miranda deal ASAP.

Serie A's quality is indeed worrying. Its like their players are priced like the league was the same quality as 10 or 15 years ago. Overpriced flops are increasingly being exported from that league. Immobile has a similar season like a guy like Luca Toni and suddenly he is Barca material.

He's saying that Toni being 2nd topscorer shows that Immobile's achievement is garbage. Which, IMO, is a garbage argument.

Of course it is. Using that I can say Immobile with Torino, more goals than Higuain with Napoli. Result = Immobile > Higuain. Am I doing it right?

That guy that translate the catalunya radio stuff is talking about decoy targets now.

Yeah, that's what I'm reading too and it's worrying. I prefer Benatia over Miranda though the latter is a player every team needs but he turns 30 in a few months and I don't want Atleti to lose every player.

Luca Toni's goal scoring tally with Verona at his age is surprising, but we can't infer more from that without looking at the games and seeing how the goals are coming. That being said, Luca Toni was no scrub in his younger days. Dude had great seasons at Seria A when the league was far more competitive, and he did have a monster season with Bayern where he scored a ton of goals.

Immobile shoes great talent, you should watch him a little instead of judging him for other reasons than his own personal talent.

In a good way? Or in a bad way? I personally haven't seen him play; just know that everybody was raving about him before the January transfer window.

The guy is OK for Greek Superleague ( or what it's called ) playing for Pireu who has no rivals since the ancient olympic games.

You couldn't see him play mainly because he didn't, dunno if he played 90 minutes since his transfer.

He sounds pretty stupid to me with that stuff. Roma aren't in a position where they absolutely need our business because 1) They don't NEED to sell Benatia and 2) they have plenty of more high-paying suitors. They aren't gonna flip shit just cause someone reported that we're speaking with Miranda's representatives.

Works the other way around as well. Using Benatia as a "decoy" wouldn't in any way facilitate a move for Miranda. It's just a bunch of melodramatic nonsense. He should stick to reporting news instead of putting some weird interpretation on it

Yeah it does seem stupid. But in the case of targets like Bravo from Sociedad, it keeps the prices of our target from being raised due to there being competition. But in the case of Koke and Benatia it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

But seriously, comparing Immobile to Eto'o... :p
And anyway, we don't need Eto'o 2. A natural striker won't be a starter for sure.
At the same time, reading about Kostas gave me spooks.
Some ppl just speculate that a striker wont work for Barca because messi can't preform in RW position and he got used to the F9 , i remember after the 4-0 game against milan messi him self said that he felt like he had more freedoom playing with villa upfront messi played behind him and villa change his position couple of time and dropped to the wing i think a young prospect like Ciro would fit in barca style he can play villa role sometimes , i advise you to watch Argentina matches where messi plays sometime behind a striker and look at his scoring record with sabella .

Its not only Luca Toni though. A guy like Di Natale is of similar age and scores a huge number of goals there. Meanwhile, flop after flop are exported. Lamela, Jovetic, Pastore... Apart from Mourinhos' season with Inter, Serie A havent had a single team in the CL semis in the last 7 years...

I would only listen to his translations, the rest ist mere speculation. He also said we had a predeal with Reus, but he got "annoyed" with the transfer ban :)lol:) and that we were in advanced talks with Keylor Navas and would announce him before the CL final, according to his "sources in Spain". He states every rumour as fact.

Jovetic and Lamela have had like no game time though. And Di Natale is a good player.
