Once we bought Dani Alves and Keita from Sevilla and both were magnificent signings.

OK, easy now  Alves was definitively an absolutely fantastic signing, probably THE best attacking RB to ever play the game together with Cafu. Keita was no doubt a great utility player with a big heart and fighting spirit, he was also used very well tactically - and hard working players like Keita are needed to give a team balance. But yeah, I agree to some extent - he was 'magnificent' because he was exactly the piece we needed to build our great team, he helped US become magnificent :barca scarf:

Not sure whether selling Cesc and Alves and then getting Rakitic and Cuadrado will help us become magnificent though.

If we get Rakitic and Mathieu, why don't we just buy Carlos Bacca as our "mobile 9" as well and make our transformation into a "strugling for CL spot" team complete, and become La Ligas Arsenal.

Just kidding.

Don't worry, we're heading in that direction. That's why don't expect much next season. Just hope Messi doesn't decide to leave..

"Man City are not willing to start talks on a transfer of forward Sergio Aguero (25). The Argentine player is not for sale. [rac1]".

If true, the amount of exciting players we can get is dropping fast. :(

Is this an official quote from City? Woho!

No idea, all I know is that rac1 supposedly is among the "credible" sources, so one have to think they didn't fabricate it.

Aguero must push for the move, If he wants to come. Abidal did something similar, threaten to not show up to training camp while at Lyon.

Would LOL so hard if our transfer window turns out to be as bad as Man U's last year with Moyes

Considering the potential transferban to 2016, and the fact that Messi and Iniesta are now risking having their best years wasted, it would be a disaster for the club if the transferwindow becomes a failure. Bartomeu and the rest of the board have their backs against the wall on this one, they are talking big and they need to deliver big. Repairs are needed after several years of horrible neglect of the squad, and it needs to be done in a transferwindow that is particularly difficult from the World Cup happening and the fact that all other clubs know we're desperate in the market, which never is a good thing.

You're being sarcastic I know, but still. :(
