There has been persistent rumours about Luis Enrique wanting a mobile #9. Those are rumours, but if there is any truth to it then I see Higuain as a great choice, perhaps a very unlikely choice, but still, a great choice.

You could perhaps say that Messi, Neymar, Pedro, Higuain, Alexis, Deulofeu along with the La Masia prospects are too many for 3 positions, but that's up to the coaching staff to decide and fix if we go for it

Higuain coming is good for Alexis. The player who'd benefit most from a mobile striker is Messi. The second, IMO, is Alexis.

Rotations are never a problem if done correctly and smartly. A smart rotation would have all the players involved playing almost every single game.

People were clamoring for more rotation by that match. He may have rotated too many players in that match, but the bigger problem was the huge discrepancy between the starters and the bench players last season. When Song and Roberto are your midfield depth, you're in trouble.
