Such nonsense. Maybe you've never heard of players who are considered among the best defenders in the history of football, like Javier Zanetti or Daniel Passarella or Roberto Ayala or Oscar Ruggeri?
Or maybe other great defensive minded midfielders like Cambiasso, our own Mascherano, Atletis Diego Simeone?

Argentina now have shaky defense, but historically they've always been known for tough, no nonsense, hard defense.

Both Fazio and Musacchio would be very good additions. Musacchio with more upside because of age, Fazio the one more ready to be heavily depended on now.

Yeah I never said historically. Ayala and Zanetti are awesome and Passarella was a legend etc. The current crop just sucks that's all not knocking the historical Argie defending.

Teams like Sevilla or Valencia still gain more from TV revenue than they would in other countries. The ones who get very little money are the mid-table teams and below. Plus, saying Barça and Madrid are killing La Liga is laughable; if anyone is, it's the LFP. Barça even expressed their willingness to change to a fairer system.

In which other countries... Wales ? Yeah maybe.

Not sure about Sevilla but Valencia def do receive more money in this system of tv rights than they would from collective tv deals similar to other countries.

I think that is what he meant.

Valencia... maybe. They finished 3rd in a couple of seasons lately... 3-4 seasons in a row. However, a collective TV deal allows teams like Sunderland to calmly compete for good players and they're not afraid to spend big sums for them. While in Spain that doesn't happen... that's why the budget of most of the clubs here is based on what they sell.

Valencia and Atletico def get more in this deal than they would in collective, that is why they did not support the other clubs that fought for it.

Valencia finishing third makes no real difference to the tv money they receive.

It sure makes. How else could it be split ? The team finishing last can't get the same as the team finishing 4th.

PSG are sounding out the entourage of Lionel Messi. The French club want to make another attempt to sign the Argentine next summer. [equipe]
