If you play with true wingbacks, then that will be a problem for sure. If you play with true wingers and attacking fullbacks, it really shouldn't be that much of a problem at all to transition quickly.

Of course it can be a problem, especially when the team you play against has 3 of the most explosive players in the world and absolute killers in 1 vs 1s.

Well that wholly depends upon who you put in their way, wouldn't it.

I really didn't think my original statement would give anybody enough incentive to begin a pissing contest/bragging fest, but well, apparently I was wrong.

It all depends on where they are at any given moment. If they are high up on the pitch and your team loses the ball then you are in trouble, the ball travels much faster than any player. So, the whole system needs to be very conservative in case you are facing a good attacking team.

But even then you would still have to overcome three CBs with usually acceptable anticipation ;) It's not like nobody is left in such a system if the respective fullback is still high up the pitch.

this game is so stupid. i wish we could play with the amateur team there.

You can only field 3 from the U23 or U19 team... Görtler and Strieder flew with the team.

But with Robben and Ribery out, Lewy in question and Götze not really an asset Müller does not have to go into infights with the Leverkusen bunch. He will have to run his ass off on Wednesday with or without Lewy as a partner.

And the same with Boateng. He often had muscle problems lately and he will be so important.
