I really like him and I think he is a SUPERB player but I am honestly not sure how would he fit in. Against smaller teams where we wouldn't need to defend he could be an excellent solution but against physically stronger teams I am not so sure. IMHO midfield consisting of Busi-Pedri-Bernardo is physically to weak. The biggest problem in my eyes is that he is to similar to Pedri.

Bernardo made more interceptions than De Jong and has almost twice the tackles last season. The lad is everywhere on the pitch.

I really don't think many of you have watched him. You just see his physique and playing style and think he is one of those luxury players. The truth is his work rate is insane, he run all day long. Not a passenger in defense in the slightest. He is easily a better and more aggressive tackler than De Jong, and fits the Barca counterpressing.

He played as an interior plenty of times for Pep, LCM or RCM, doesn't matter.

He also has no problems physique-wise in the mighty physical PL. You come off as someone who didn't watch him tbh
