He could potentially grow into greatness, but there's no growing to be done by sitting on the bench. If he really wants to gain his full potential then he should ask to be loaned. Every match spent not playing is 90 minutes of playing experience he's missing out on.
Another idea is maybe he peaked in the youth teams, but that's just sad.

I agree. Watch him off the ball in the games where he "is invisible", and you'll see he is doing everything right, serving the team.
Most teams take the defensive approach against Barca. And if you can't deliver in games which constitute a reasonable chunk of the season..Better we get rid.
You're awarded a place in the team on merit and pure footballing reasons. Fanbase, favourtism or popularity ain't/shouldn't be the basis for it.
The age excuse is becoming mundane. He's turning 21 this year and shown no signs of progression. And if playing time is the underlying cause and i'm sure the player knows well, he should take the initiative. Expecting to 've it easy and spoon fed all the time won't work. The player's reluctance to a loan move is indicative of his insecurities and mental flaws. He needs to 've faith and confidence in his ability to succeed in harder conditions/setup...and regular playing time in a lesser side will give him just that.
Bench-warming won't help his development. And hes not that a great talent to be a regular starter for the Blaugrana. Messi and Pedro have their places locked for the distant future. While GD will eventually replace Villa on the left.
Bojan needs to act and...fast!
May i also add,
HIT OR FLOP the Krkić lad won't ever be a bother for no top CBs in the world. I might even be giving him too much credit here.

he will probably never be a world beater but he doesn't really need to be...
we have a talented 20 year old forward who loves the club, doesn't want to leave and doesn't mind being a first team squad member and providing backup...
Messi and Pedro are both only 23 and have our right and central forward positions covered for years to come and Deulofeu seems to be developing nicely/rapidly and could potentially take over from Villa on the left of our attack when DV7 decides to hang up his boots...
also let's not forget players like Etock and Dongou coming through the youth ranks...very exciting prospects...
it is a shame Bojan probably won't live up to the potential he showed when he was 16, 17 and 18 years old but that doesn't mean he can't provide a good service for the club...not everyone can be a starter...

No , ppl expecting him to man the fuck up, try to get tougher, work on his physical ability and not get bullied around like some sort of puppy. One push and you r down, and given the fact that most team will take the defensive approach against Barca, he will not get any thing more than 10 mins cameo. What is the use of a back up if he cant provide shiet while playing as a back up.
