Well not really, sending him to a mid table La Liga club like Gijon as somebody mentioned would have been more sensible. He also wouldn't have had to worry about adapting and also still be playing a technically superior league to France of Holland.

If LE keeps him on the bench time and time again we should bring him back next season. Our scouts are hardly wrong.Obviously he had shown glimpse of his talents while playing for our junior teams.Bojan is too big too big a talent to be destroyed on the Roma bench.

I'm optimistic about Bojan playing in Italy and the fact he has gotten a few minutes so far. That physically tough league will whip his pansy ass into shape in no time.

You think our bench is more comfortable for him? :D
Yeah I think so.He would at least have the opportunity to remain home and get admired by Cules like me :p
Actually there are many disadvantages for him to stay in Italy. The language barrier, lack of friends, missing family members...various factors are bound to affect his performance. Now things are only getting worse for the barca boy as he has become 4th choice striker for Roma.

Excuse me, but I don't care if he feels lonely or if he has no friends there. He'll make some if he hasn't, he's not a baby. He's one of the richest 21 year olds in the world. He could have worse problems than missing his family. Barcelona is not Bojan's personal babysitting academy. Either he steps it up or he is surplus to requirements in one of the best football teams in history. There are others who will take his place.

He's 100 % coming back in 2013 by the way, except Roma buy him for € 40 million. Which they won't. We are FORCED to buy him back in 2013.

This is the exact reason I would like to bring him back sooner rather than later unless he is a regular starter at Roma. This worthless deal annoys me a lot since we are obliged to buy him 2 years later regardless of his form and future prospect.if he remains at Roma as bench-warmer for 2 long years it will destroy his confidence and we will be forced to stick to someone who will always moan about his lack of playing minutes and distort harmony in our dressing room.

Anyways I will never forgive Bojan for accusing Pep in public for not giving him enough playing opportunity and chanting "Forza Roma" in his last press conference at camp nou.

He's obviously not Barca material. He didn't make it under Pep. Pedro took his place straight away. And then even Afellay impressed more than Bojan obviously (see CL final substitution) and that in his first year in a completely new system, different country, without even speaking the language ...

He didn't make it into the first XI in the Spanish U21 European Cup under Luis Milla. Now he's benched by Luis Enrique as well? Well, that's 3 coaches prefering other players over him then. No Barca material. Simple as that. Never really impressed in first division football. Only got a reputation from his youth achievements.

see the last 2 months of 2009/2010 but I agree with you and all the others otherwise, he chose the wrong club, in fact the wrong league, serie A was never gonna suit him, I said it when he was sold and I am sorry to say it again, he was always gonna fail there, Getafe or Betis would have been perfect for him. Sad story it is of Bojan Krkic.
