And no Xavi cannot go on anymore as the starter for all games. The midfield needs to be Iniesta and Cesc for next season if we are to have any chance at winning La Liga.

After 3 years people can't figure out that a midfield of Iniesta and Cesc doesn't work ?

Cesc and Real Madrid's Di Maria are the players with most assists (13) in the Liga this season #fcblive [via @pedritonumeros]

Not many good midfielders available, losing Cesc is a bad move. Unless someone like Koke would be available? Unlikely though.

Koke in the beginning of the season was in the same situation as Rafinha would be next one, and they are both more physical central midfielders, why buy what you already have?
If Rafinha played well against Real with Celta, what makes people think he won't do the same with Barca?

Koke, Kroos or Pogba...then there's Rafinha

Pogba is a physical box to box player with much less technical ability, totally unsuited to Barca. We all saw how creative he was vs mighty Benfica right? Rafinha is a good young talent but not on Cesc's level. Still it's good to have him for next season as a rotation option.

People in here realise Cesc is a world class player right?

Yes.

I think Rafinha is quickly becoming the most over rated player on this forum.

Good player but nowhere near as good as Cesc.

If Cesc leaves and Rafinha replaces him the midfield is much weaker.

Well there was a fair amount of hype around Sergi Roberto without any real first team action to show his skills, now we have Rafinha who has had a whole season where he's excelled at celta what did you expect?

His last name being Alcantara probably has something to do with it too.

I feel the Rafinha case is as much about our faith in the loan system as it is in Rafinha.

I can't imagine any player doing better than he has for us out on loan.

Seems hypocritical to always look at non-Barca players as superior when they do little things, and when someone on loan from Barca is doing well, it's being called overrating.
In the case of Sergi Roberto, anyone that watched him last season (even in the first team) saw that he was doing better than Thiago at times, which is not the case this season, for whatever reason.
