Cesc Fàbregas

Pep is a tactical mastermind, but he makes plenty if mistakes too. Surely the blame should be on him for buying a player that doesn't fit. Cesc is just doing what he does best as well as he can.

Cesc is on par with Ibra as a signing for me. Not a bad player at all but one of Peps mistakes in terms of the player not fitting the team.

Guys like Ursegor and FCBarca though act like he's some big bad monster that came here to destroy us and stop Thiago from ever playing,

Also LOL at that timeline implying Cesc as the reason for decline. It was due to tiredness, lack of motivation and the fact that you can't keep winning forever. Pep even said so himself.

It's on Pep too, but not only on him. Cesc is a wc player, and many wanted him back for being from la masia, etc. Too bad he couldn't adapt to Barça.

His days at Barca are over... finally. No more pain, no more tears, no more Fabregas.

Cesc was an obsession not a necessity. Had Barca instead tried to strengthen the weaknesses rather than signing him we could have much better seasons than we had. But they were so obsessed with bringing this "Golden" boy of La Masia back "home" that even the coach had to change the tactics to fit him in. So much for "Xavi's repalcement". Guess what? Xavi is still here and his replacement is leaving. The irony!

It might have been a board decision but a lot if it was on Pep. I don't think he was just handed the player and forced to make things work.

Also he seemed a good Xavi replacement while at Arsenal. He played cm there many times and controlled games well. It's only when he got here we saw he is not a game controller for the Barca style. Or he could have been but was never given a run of games there to adapt.

The golden boy thing was a bunch of media crap. The picture some are painting where he is a mercenary who's life mission is to wreck Barca and stop Thiago playing is nonsense.
