People that are rating him...Seriously, he is SLOW. He is lazy more often then not, his dribbling is non existent and he basically disappears in 2nd half of the season, thats pure fact. Only thing he has is solid free kicks and good last pass, everything else is average.

He should be thanked for his contribution to the national team and for his time in FCB but that's about it. Never understood all the hype that mostly originated from the PL fanboys. He would have been twice the player if he was twice as quick.

Obvious now because he has only started about 4 games since January? Not that I intend to stop the frenzy of classic Barcaforum groupthink.

Doesn't matter.. We can talk at the end of the season. The level of performances will keep dropping. Chelsea got knocked out of CL otherwise you will witness more horrible performances than yesterday. It is a fact that his performances drop in second half of the season.

If he continued his first half a season form he probably would, but seeing he is back to his old self he probably won't. Thing about Cesc is that his assist tend to be alot from FK and corners. Obviously with guys like Costa, Matić, Ivanović, Terry and Cahill the ability for ball to lend on one of the neanderthal head is big. At Arsenal and Barca, teams with woeful ability on FKs it didn't work that way.

Man I'm so glad we got rid of that guy...Best Lucho's decision by mile.
