Cesc Fàbregas

It's a bad idea to sub players off in the dying minutes to secure a win, we did that already a couple of times this season and conceded (e.g. against Sociedad). It doesn't give any defensive stability.

True.

Same player subbed out: Cesc. 2 goals conceded. This double-pivot (Song+Busquets) doesn't work.

Next season we should only play him in first half of the season because he's replicating exactly what he did last season.
Few years ago I was sure Cesc and Thiago will replace Xavi and Iniesta but now I'm panicking as both look only pale copies.

Really how many games have they played together? 2 or 3? It needs time to work.

Calma, calma
In addition to being useless on the ball, he's becoming a defender for the opposing team - blocking off nice passes from Messi to the other forwards

Not his worst game ever, but it's evident that the dip in form has been going awfully long. He was very, very good in the first half of the season, I hope he can come back to that form before the season ends. He needs to prove this is only a dip, not a recurring season-long pattern. The most important games are only beginning.

What'll be interesting is to see how he plays alongside Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Villa, Pedro etc. and also see if Cesc's game improves when Tito returns.
