Bayern in CL in last 5 years.

Beaten by Madrid
Beaten by Barca
Beaten by Atletico
Beaten by Madrid
Beaten by Madrid.

Before that.
Knocked out Barca (2013)
Knocked out Madrid (2012).

Roma won't do what they have done to us.
Winning the knock out after having a three goal down is rare case, nevermind it happened on two straight games, and by the same team. The chance is not bigger than 0.000(add any number of 0 here)1%.

If Roma do win again, then Madrid really is going to have their third in a row. Not so much sure if it's current Liverpool.

Core players are getting older. You'll have issues to replace them just like we do. There's no other Modric, no other Marcelo, no other Ramos.

And we have projects to do that. Normal stuff. For some reason it's Barca who seem to not realise this early enough. Most within the club and the supporters are aware of the ageing, was plain enough to see in autumn. But it only matters if you're oblivious to it and not take the right steps early enough to mitigate this. It'll take years to get back on top as soon as we start losing. Cycle will end and another will begin. But the club seem to be on the right track to minimise the transitional period.

You have projects. But how long did it take for Ramos to become your leader? 7 seasons give or take? Ramos was around in 2006 too when Ronaldinho shat over him. Marcelo? He was more known for hitting Messi during Mourinho. He was around for years and years too before he got to this level. Ronaldo? Gone soon. No one like him coming up. Benzema? He took years and years too to become a main player.

Barca have projects too. But there won't be another Puyol, another Alves, another Xavi. Kiss that goodbye. I think we will enter a period of domination for the oil clubs soon. They will get some return for all that money in the next years.

Oh and why are Bayern players kicking the ball out of play in the 85th minute because Asensio tripped over himself and got hurt? It ain't no head injury and it was 100% self-inflicted.

Fucking play on you idiots .

That was James being an idiot. Allowed Madrid to waste minutes.

what's worse from the replay there was nothing (no ankle twist or anything which may cause pain).. He lost the ball in a bad space and gambled on an anti-jeu to kill any potential weakness in the back caused by his fuck up. It's a disgraceful and malicious gesture and it worked.

Oh dear. Does that make you feel better in some way?

Doesn't matter how long it took him, wasn't his turn to lead anyway as Iker and Raul were just as deserving to carry the mantle as him. Sometimes it comes around, sometimes it doesn't with captains and leaders. Chiellini is a great example of that not quite working out in the end. We're fully aware we're lucky to have these players, because a dude like Ramos is a rare breed. But after Ramos there'll be a Carvajal who is also a rare and one of the great RBs of the world, albeit a bit volatile, but with such temperaments it's relatively easy to mediate if you grow them in a calm culture of progress like Sir Alex's or Zidane's. And after Carvajal there'll be someone like Vallejo. Primary reason why we buy these young dudes early even if they're rather shit right now. There's clear long-term progression path. Where is that in Barca in comparison right now? Who is Barca's captain and identity leader after Messi? Busquets and Pique who'd be the only ones are just as old. Sergi Roberto? Maybe far far down the line....

True, and you can probably throw CR and Benz (despite his inconsistencies) in that too.

However, Casemiro is 26, Kroos is 28, Isco is 26, Carvajal is 26, and Varane is 25. These are players that have not only had big moments in big games, but they are trusted by Zidane. Kova/Asensio have consistency issues, but they have also looked brilliant in moments.

A transition period is inevitably coming, and the club needs to handle it well, but I don't think it will be a drastic one.

No. It's just the truth. Ramos took years of development. He was hilarious back in the day. Sure, new top players will follow. But will the be as good as the old guard? Most likely no.

You will need to establish some dominance in La Liga, or keep winning in CL. Or else pressure is gonna add up. If you end up trophyless, some changes might happen since this summer.

Yep. And became the guy that was the most successful dribbler in the 2010 World Cup, won everything there is to win. And then transitioned into CB and legendary status by basically being a one-man wrecking crew in 2014 and 2017. But I'm sure you know that. And I'm sure there's a fair bit of envy that Real seems to have a few of these hilariously shit 19-22 year olds in the bag as we speak.

Go bed lad. Must be late in Bucharest.

Which is what I said dude. It takes time. How many titles CLs did Madrid win until these players developed into what they are? Pretty sure they threw a bus parade for a Copa del Rey in 2011. Dominant cycles are easier to be built in non-rewarding times in terms of titles.

It's harder to keep winning and develop a new generation at the same time. It already ruined your season in La Liga and have you in a CL or bust place. Sure, CL final and very nice for you. Fact remain that Bayern played you off the field. So, there's that.

We aren't happy here after a double because the team has played like shit a lot of times this season. But Madrid fans are extatic after Bayern dominated them 80% of the time. Madrid are in a clear and visible decline in terms of the football they play. Escaping and getting results agains the run of play doesn't last long.

I really feel for Bayern over the last couple of years, they deserved better from this.
Hope we dont have to play them again anytime soon though, im tired of Bayern, in 4 years we have met them 3 times? Its just too much.

Zidane needs to get the team in shape for the final, because we are in shambles.
