i think it will be the opposite mate TBH Macheda won the academy player of the year ahead of Welbeck this season and is a year younger and more of a striker then Welbeck is he is just a natrual goalscorer and i believe he meant that goal against Sunderland he turned his leg to direct it into the bottom corner but because he is a kid it was a fluke? would you say that if Messi did that? as for his goal against Villa...top class to do that when you've played a 100 or so games for United takes balls but do to it when your 17 and on your debut when you need to win the game and its 2-2 says it all about the boy!he will be something special

one goal is pure luck, if he pulls out fifty of those in the coming years, that is top class. the way i see it, it is a normal youth player that is hyped by the english press (as usual). welbeck seems more in for the game, more power and talent. PLUS a real local

im just stating it as i feel maybe i should have said if he continues to progress as he is this season! he played a major role in us winning the league as we would have dropped 4 points if it wasn't for him!he will be a top player IMO he has everything a striker needs

macheda looks a very good striker. his movement, holdup play and goalscoring instincts seem to be tuned in. he's also physically developed at 17 which means he can play lots of games at first-team level to get experience.

welbeck will be amazing I think. he's big and strong and will only get bigger and stronger. physically he reminds me of ronaldo when he was a teenager. had some very good dribbles today and as he fills out physically will turn into a real bull of a player.

I agree MJ! I doubt anyone will say Barça's defense is better than United's. I believe we will own the ball & that Xavi & Iniesta will run the show from midfield. Both sides are very strong going forward but I'm sure we're stronger in that area, although their defense will be hard to open up...
