I am not scared even the slightliest of Napoli.

I would have been scared of City and Liverpool ONLY.
And 50:50 with Bayern, Atletico.

And 70:30 against Real, Psg, Juve, Tottenham.

Imo, basically, only those two crazy running teams City and Liverpool are a real threat for us.
And maybe those two physical teams Bayern and Atletico.

Since Pep will be Pep and hopefully lose against Real, only Liverpool will be left.
But I am not too sure that Liverpool will go through either.

Liverpool could have problems against a physical Atletico, who is not playing as funky in defense as Barca and who don't have a team of midgets (at Liverpool's corners and crosses).

So, there is a nice chance that EV's black magic will work again and that both Shity and Liverpool will go out in a 1/8.

That would mean that we would have very nice chances of our 2 heros lifting a CL trophy in May of 2020:

Let's HOPE!

Its so weird reading your positive post. Nice change. Let's hope those two "heroes" lift the CL trophy!

Potential QF teams: Real Madrid/City, Liverpool, Valencia, Spurs, Bayern, PSG, Juve, Baca

Not good for us, especially if we get a tie with the 2nd leg away. i genuinely think that as of right now, the only team we could advance through if we played 2nd leg away is valencia (because we'd thrash them at the camp nou). otherwise, it is a toss up against the rest

I think that our chances of getting knocked out in the quarter finals is high imo

Napoli-Liverpool 2-0
Liverpool-Napoli 1-1

it's not going to be a walk. I wouldn't underestimate Napoli.

You left out the part in which they lost to Bologna, Cagliari, Parma, drew with Spal, Genoa, RBS and 9th team in Belgium Genk and are closer to the relegation zone than first place.

Juve have Sarri. So, they are out.
Psg plays a weak league, they usually crumble under pressure.
Bayern will have their 3rd coach this season.

Basically, if Liverpool and City are out... we are really close then.

I will personally cheer for all of our enemies to go out:
So, let's go: Real (vs City), Chelsea (vs Bayern), Red Bull (Vs Tottenham), Atletico (vs Liverpool).

Just imagine if by some black magic luck, all of these 4 teams get KO's in 1/8...
We would have laft: granny Real, the weakest Atletico ever, and Juventus lead by a chocker Sarri.

Even EV looks like a master among those...

Real Madrid - we trash them day and night. but it's madrid in the CL, so let's say it is a 50-50
City - we beat them in the past. they still haven't overcome their CL curse. at least 50-50
Liverpool - here is the real problem. no need to explain further..
Valencia - trash. no need to explain further..
Spurs - i'm not saying they are trash only because of mourinho. but don't think the old dog learned new tricks and even he can't pull of a miracle.
Bayern - depends on their form in the next months. they still have to appoint a manager so things might change. good in attack but meh in the middle and poor at the back.
PSG - we trash them even when odds are against us(see remontada). maybe if neymar is available...but that's a big IF
Juve - trash ageing team. don't see a problem here

Not sure if you’re deluded but the only certified choker amongst these teams is tuchel, and then you have the master himself fraudverde

keep living in your “fairytale” where Rakitic and fraudverde are the best in the world

edit- not sure how sarri is a choker? don't remember him bottling anything. maybe you have ea personal vendetta towards him because he banished that other croatian you suck off...mandzukic?

Our most famous away win in CL arguably is the 2-0 (Messi double) against Mou's 2011 Madrid.

Madrid have an inferiority complex v us since the R10 days.

I think we'd beat them handily, CL or league.

I don't think that Juve's problem is Sarri, their problem is that they are not very good.

As for who do we want to go through: We want Atleti to beat Pool, Real to beat Citeh, Chelsea to beat Bayern and BVB to beat PSG.

i was talking about our chances if we were to face teams in a tie with the 2nd leg away from home. imo we dont comfortably get past any of them besides valencia if that is the case

ATM - pool 15 - 85
Valencia - Atlanta 60 - 40
Spurs - rbl 50 - 50
Chelsea - Bayern 35 - 65
Psg - bvb 70 - 30
Juventus - lyon 90 - 10
Barca - Napoli 80 - 20

ATM are an awesome team, except the scoring part. If (I know it's a rather big IF) they can find a couple of goals, then Pool will be in a lot of trouble.

I expect a shitshow at Naples while getting a decent result(perhaps even winning with that EV magic)

Then we'll probably finish the tie in the Camp Nou(or overcome the first leg's deficit).

So,all in all,I think we are almost certainly going through, unless EV and the club de amigos delivers another disasteclass at Naples(remember that the last time we had a CL KO match in Italy we lost 3-0.TWICE.)

Then the quarterfinals will be extremely tough(unless EV works his black magic and we draw a far inferior opponent eg Valencia) and sadly we'll probably go out.

IF we manage to reach the semis, then things will definitely become extremely hard for our team and that will be the end of the road.

Sorry about the pessimism guys, but it's been a rough last few years...
