Atleast they are optimistic, over here the general vibe is usually pessimistic regardless of the result.
Well if someone spanked us like last night no body realistic would be optimistic. We are unhappy with CL away win and they are happy for small loss. Says it all really...

Careful, a lot of English fans are deluded dumbfucks lol Mainly from "top clubs" mind. Though I'd agree as a lot of them seem to forget only a few years ago they became a "big club" and it wasn't through success, it was because of a chairman with really deep pockets.

They seem to be under the impression they've been kicking it with the big boys for a long time and "deserve" to be #1 in the Prem and also #1 in Europe.

Most definitely though, they have about 30,000 actual fans who attend games. The rest are plastics & glory hunters whom are all fickle as fk.

Its not just a difference in ambition or what to expect, people in general complain to much about performances of players or the team, often unjustified.

read through bluemoon carefully again. they're blaming everyone around, including the refs and most of em call for pellegrini's head.

there's some positive feeling out there because they're simply deluded and think they'll dominate us at the nou camp but i've found some reasonable posters on there saying they'll concede at least 2 again in the return leg

there just not good enough, how do you want to dominate barca with fernando and milner

Fixed.

These 2 will make a huge difference for them. I'm confident that we'll go through but it'll be an interesting game. If they score first (after a set piece or one great combination) the tie is open again

has toure been himself lately though? i don't think so & come on it'll be the same story again. we'll score on them early and they'll pretend to try to come back to the game so they don't look like complete losers

if they couldn't do us at the etihad then they won't at the nou camp cmon

It was noticeable that City is much weaker without Toure. He gives them balance and strength in the midfield and he is able to hold the ball, something which Fernando is not capable of.

I already said that I'm confident that we'll go through but it's not impossible that they'll bounce back. Agüero is able to score goals out of nowhere. If Silva and Toure step up, it'll be difficult for us to keep a clean sheet. We'll probably goals too but only if we are mentally on the highest level. Keep in mind that we have the Clasico to think about.
It's unlikely that they'll win 2-0 but it's not impossible. They're not Elche after all. However, if we're fully focused and their players will make mistakes again and give us lots of space we shouldn't have problems advancing.

well, i don't doubt they can bounce back but they suit us. they give up lots of space and i'm sure they will do that again next time around.

toure won't be a threat, he's a lazy ass and doesn't come to be nearly as good as he once was.

Yup, just been listening to talkshite and they've got callers in saying the same thing that's going on the forums. How they've invested a lot into the club and still not at that level where they are dominate with Chelsea having spent better to improve their squad over the summer.

They can play pretty football against lesser teams in the PL but when it comes to Barça, they're clearly mismatched and don't have the mindset to deal with them both tactically and quality wise.

Man Citeh are a bunch of misfits. They've taken players like Nasri, Milner and many more over the years who were successful at the clubs they came from because they fit into that squad at the time - they gelled with the previous players but at Man City they haven't settled or/and aren't up to the quality of playing in the CL.

Then as ever in English media instead of focusing on what's wrong with the English team, they are ripping into Messi or as they quote "Missi ho ho ho"... ugh it's old already. These same numpties then praise Ronaldo & continue to lick his arse. Seems to be the mentality here, they'll even moan about as something as minor as Messi being on the front cover of FIFA. No respect.

Its always a pleasure to beat English teams..These guys think that they are above everyone in terms of football, even if we crush them every time we meet...I want us to beat them in Camp Nou with a 3-0 score.

They actually hailed Messi on Bluemoon today/yesterday saying he is far more complete than Ronaldo and can have a brilliant game without scoring but they probably say that only because CR played for there rivals

Barça and Messi put on a show yesterday and all I see is controversy, memes and half naked women. Do people even like football?

Migeru always spot on.
