Yeah they're a bunch of toss... wait what? :masip::pique:

Anyway, just seen the other results, bouncing XD
Of course not everyone but I always get such a feeling in the PL. The level of delusion is unbearable at times and more often than not they have very little knowledge of football outside of England. Like the cityfan recently who labeled Modric as shit. Goes without saying tbh.

Let´s see if Pellegrini will play with 2 strikers leaving Yaya and Fernando alone in the midfield. I doubt it. I bet in a 4-2-3-1 giving Yaya a freedom role in attacking midfield.

Zabaleta saw a yellow for the penalty foul? He was up for missing the return leg.

It's cool mate I was just kidding, hence the American "wait what" or should have been "wuuuuuurt?". I am English and know exactly where you're coming from because you are right; it's embarrassing & shameful how a lot of fans do think the PL is the best. I was saying to my mates how wrong it is the other day - English clubs aren't as dominate as they may have used to have been or even appeared to have been. The Prem may appear as exciting because everyone is as crap as each other with bottom clubs beating the top of the league clubs, with points being tight at the top and then tight at the bottom. To some that maybe great entertainment but it's evident the standards aren't great because look how they compare when they compete with other clubs in Europe in the Champions League etc.

They think the best players are in the PL when actually, no they're not. My brother and his mates are amongst those delusional fans who are so called "football fans" but only pay attention to the PL. I offered to take him up to the Barça v City game but his response was "why would I want to go watch that shit with two teams I don't give a fk about". I was absolutely stunned because it was only the other week he was watching some random cup game with 2 teams of which he doesn't support and at a lower calibre. But hey that's my brother, bit of a caveman at times. Like you say though, unbearable. Not to mention the stick I get for being a Barça fan, sometimes it's easier just to say I don't follow football because it's such a headache having to explain.

*Remember to those saying this tie is done; Man City haven't got anything to lose, last season it was the same situation and they came to the Camp Nou with fire in their belly. They got the goal but obviously were done by another 2 goals but this fight is not over until the final whistle. Let's not get cocky & over confident, we still have a job to do. When Barça score 1 or 2, then yeah let's celebrate and hope then they don't throw it away with City banging in the goals for fun.

Bah. Decent result, but some really bad play at times. I have never seen Mascherano play that bad. It was unbelievable. Neymar certainly was near his worst as well.

I thought Mascherano had a 9.2/10 performance. Several critical tackles, and even the foul he gave away early in the match was intelligent/necessary due to Neymar's turnover. City were looking like scoring there.

Still feeling good about our chances but there is no way yaya shits the bed in Catalonia two years running. I bet he nabs a goal. He's one of the best players in the world when he wants to be.

Very confident of Barca getting a goal at home. I can't see Manchester City beating us at home by 2 goals or more.

Don't see why I'm not creating more chaos. I repeatedly stated we won this tie in 45 minutes. Come on, guys.

@Iron Man What if Bundesliga goes ahead of PL in the UEFA coefficient ? would you expect a change of attitude from PL fans ?

With all the previous meltdowns and the ominous "remember Malaga" I'd expect at least some rightful prudence

I mean as Serghei said 3-1 would have been better, considering we play RM soon after the return leg, but the fact that City HAS to score two completely fucks them over. They'll have to play an attacking line-up at the Camp Nou so the game can become a bit crazy, but the most likely scenario is a severe beating for them ;)

Honestly, knowing the stubborn & ignorance of British fans, I'd say no. They truly believe it's the best league in the World no matter what. The PL has fallen from grace. They see teams competing more closely as a "good thing". If the top of the league club is drawing or losing to those towards the bottom end, that's competing? There should be quite a curve, a stand out performance & quality difference to show "why that club is top" and "why that club is in the bottom 3, 5, 10 etc".

@cityfan - mate, Man City have around 30k tops actual "fans". The rest you have are plastics so you have no ground to stand on saying we're plastic when your so called club is littered with them. You never ever saw Man City tops around. Barely any in Manchester but definitely NOT outside of Manchester. Now, since the oil money getting pumped in you have glory hunters & plastics a like wearing Citeh tops.

Your comment about plastics on here is clearly out of jealousy since Barça has an incredible history compared to that of what ever "history" Man City have. Man City are comparable to Birmingham City, only having had a buy out. Living in the shadow of another club who has history & prestige.

Sure yeah, you get glory hunters no matter what club but you're sadly mistaken to come here onto these forums and start pointing fingers.

*I expect them to play Aguero up front as a single striker with Silva & co in mid, Yaya just behind them and well, if they learn - then they'll tighten up at the back to force crosses. Leave space and the midfield as open at you're own peril Citeh.

As JamDav said, someone ban this tit, clearly here to whined people up and repeat the same old garbage about "plastics". Let him munch on sour grapes & the butthurt from the loss. See you next year cityfan.

I don't understand why Barca puts their foot on the pedal like they did in this game. Could easily have scored 1 or 2 more, and maybe stopped City's goal. Always amazes me what kind of logic lies behind...
When the other team has to score, you get more space, thus it's easier tfor you to score. Instead of punishing City for this, you see Barca relax and let City get into the match again. Messi's penalty miss and
and missed header was one of the worst things I've seen him do, but knowing him, he will probably want to score 1 or 2 goals now at home, just to prove a point. Still think we'll beat them at Camp Nou,
but its so annoying how this tie isn't over yet.

Welcome!

Yep, same thing vs. Atleti in away Copa match. One man extra and no penetration.
Happened very often under Pep too.

More ignorance here. City were regularly getting crowds of 45k+ before the Sheikh Mansour takeover.

Comparable to Birmingham  The same Birmingham who've never won a league title or an FA Cup? I don't think you've ever watched any English football tbh. I'd say more but what's the point as I'm already being denied right of reply

Yes, especially in the CL with Pep. It's really perplexing why they do it, makes absolutely no sense with this Barcelona team, whose strenght lies in attack. I could understand it with Atletico or Chelsea etc,
as they have completely different strengths than us. Still, should've been 3-1, regardless of this fact.
