Claudio Bravo

Having two reliable goalkeepers --> very good

Paying 12 mil. for a 2nd goalkeeper --> not very good

I still do not like the deal. I also hope MAtS will be the clear no. 1.

I agree. I don't understand why they'd buy a second goalkeeper for €12M. Found some good thinking on Twitter:

"How does TerStegen feel? Is he kicked to the curb his 1st error? how does this play on his confidence/feelings of security? I can tell you right now TerStegen didnt leave his boyhood club to play 2nd fiddle. Time will tell, but this may lead to resentment/anger. Bravo is a good keeper. the end. Over his long body of work he's shown to be a great reflex keeper but lacks fundamentals + makes mistakes. Look in the long run, this all may just be nothing. 12 mill is too much but over time it's hardly a financial catastrophe. My chief concern is how Ter Stegen will react + be treated, specifically because Luis Enrique staff apparently like #claudiobravo. Cause if #FCBarcelona cock it up with TerStegen, they would lose a 22 yr old major talent for a 31 yr old preference. let's see what happens."

Everyone is over-thinking it.

MATS won't be dropped because of few errors, that'd be silly.

Ochoa is average, if not below that sometimes. One godly performance against Brazil doesn't make him world class. There is a reason that Ajaccio didn't renew him you know.
I thought he didn't accept a contract-renewal because Ajaccio "degraded" (can't recall the correct word in English at the moment) to the second division?

I don't think they put additional pressure on MAtS by that transfer, he has a really strong personality and is very confident of himself.

We won't be disappointed by him.

Welcome! I hope he won't affect MaTS being 1st choice tho.
But if he performs better, he will start.
