No one talking about him? The goal was his fault as much as Alves'. After Alves passed, he stood there for 3 seconds (!!!) until he decided to rush forward and go for the ball after all, and then it was the wrong decision.

Agreed but Alves is the main culprit. Still it is his third game in a row if I remember correctly in which he makes an error or hesitates too much for a GK of his stature and experience...

I'm not *blaming* him for the goal but his decision was shit. If he were going to come out, he either should've done so in a slower, less boneheaded manner, or charge later when Juanmi had less space and more pressure. He had another similar bad moment for Malaga's 2nd best chance late on in the match where he charged off his line at the wrong time.

The goal is on Alves, but that should not have been a goal in the first place. Everything about how he handled that was wrong. From his hesitancy to move, to his decision to rush (late), to his leaving the box (Where he can't use his hands) to make a sliding challenge, to the way he tried to stab it with his foot instead of sweeping with his leg...

Meh. I'm still more upset with Alves.

He flinched, I believe he misjudged Dani's blunder ball approach and when he realized it was a bit late to save it.

PS: Almost spilled my coffee with the "stood there for 3 seconds" comment, talk about time warp lmfao

I believe that split hesistation was due to his mind still not comprehending that atrocious "pass", I would be in a state of disbelief as well if my defender did such a avoidable mistake like that lol that goal conceded was 98% alves fault.

Yeah, in the slowmo his facial expression pretty much revealed him thinking "ooookay a backpass here, that's not the best idea... WHATTHE!?!??!".

He was fantastic, absolutely deserves credit for our victory as well. He had one particularly impressive save.
