Claudio Bravo

I'd much rather put our eggs in the basket of us bringing our A game to win than waving off Madrid's chances of winning their games. If we win all of our remaining games we are 100% champions. If we don't we're stuck hoping Madrid drops points. I don't see why or how you can wave off beating Atletico as something important. You'd look mighty foolish if we drop 2-3 points there and Madrid crashes out of the CL but dominates Valencia and Sevilla.

Valencia and Sevilla are before Madrid. Do you actually have a magic ball that's telling you we need to beat Atletico? If Madrid drop points before that game then we can afford to drop points. This really isn't hard to understand.

How close is he to clinch the Zamora? Would it be a good idea to start playing Mats so Bravo gets his Zamora and the german is fit for CL?

Bravo's a lock for zamora. His closest rival in D.Alves fell out of the race after his team conceded twice at Camp Nou. Even if Bravo played zero mins henceforth, and Alves went without conceding in the games that remain, he'd still be unable to better Bravo's g/g ratio. In any case, MAtS won't get any LL mins this season. Match rhythm applies to all, except for a young inexperienced keeper. Lucho's logic. But then he didn't sign him, so he may want the youngster to prove himself the hard way.

Wouldn't have to make that save had he stayed back.
Still, a clean sheet. Very happy for him and his inevitable Zamora trophy

Lol he's made more than one mistake, but yes, he's been great. Moving to Barca has been the best thing that could have possibly happened to his career, both in terms of trophies and form.

He has 1 clear mistake all season, we all know which one.

And they told it on canal+ I think they had a small doc about him before the game and how important he is in barça's season success so far.

No need to look for things that don't exist, he's been great this season.

Everything about your post is true except for the "One mistake" bit. He has made plenty of errors, the difference is he's only been punished for one. Bravo coming way off his line and having to scramble back was as much of a mistake as ter Stegen trying and failing to dribble Aguero. The only difference between these two instances and Bravo's mistake against Sevilla and MatS' howler vs Villareal is they messed up when trying to save a shot and didn't get a chance to luck out of it.

Not sure why you think I'm putting him down. Recognizing he's made errors is not putting him down. The only reason you're so defensive about anyone pointing it out is the very real possibility that he may not be the best keeper at the club. I actually think he's been brilliant this season, but pretending he's been utterly flawless *except* for his mistake against Sevilla is just putting blinders over your eyes.

He's not the best keeper at the club, in terms of talent Ter Stegen is above him. I just think it's ridiculous that you are always in this tread looking to put him down.

I look forward to Ter Stegen becoming number 1 and having a solid back up if he gets injured, i.e. no more Pinto.

Yes, 1 "costly" mistake for both Bravo (Sevilla) and MatS (Villareal).

And the only reason we're defensive about pointing out is you went out of your way to try and prove something unprovable (cf "we can't lose at calderon, RM will win all their games therefore Bravo already fucked us up with his mistake against Sevilla") which 100% unfunded bashing.

It's ok though, you're entitled to your opinions just don't force them on us, Bravo has been as reliable as a rock ! Even Neuer and Courtois have their own blunders this year, yet you won't find a single Bayern or Chelsea fan complaining about that because they completely make out for it, so does Bravo.

And btw, I also think MatS is the greater talent, but Bravo has done nothing to warrant a bashing, far from it.

Pointing out mistakes is not putting him down. I just as quickly point out mistakes made by any other player. Once again, pretending he's been completely flawless is absurd. Not even Messi is immune to criticism so why the hell should Bravo be?
