There is a downside to havin a strong bench as well, you wi get ego's clashing, players wanting more playing time and people playing for themselves rather than the team.
Best is a mix of young talents, veterans and versitile good players.
What we lack is Pedro/Xavi/good lb sub. however, Sergi Roberto stepping up big time, Vidal and Arda joining means we only really lack a lb backup.
Msn up front is best trio ever, we can beat anyone with 2/3 of them in the starting line up.
Only players we dont have a similair replacement for are Busquets and Alba.
Sure several can play there but its nowhere near the same level and hurts us immensely.

I am aware of bad sides of having 2 teams but watching Munir and other replacements struggling on the pitch is enough for me to dream of top class subs. We are the best club in the world, our bench is a privilege. We mostly buy used, (for our status) underclass players (except Suki and Ney)...

That's exactly what's happening with RM and it's constant drama everytime a line up is announced ^^

Our model is great, but it relies a lot on La Masia producing versatile/good youngsters consistently, which lately isn't really true.

As far as Busquets, I consider Bob to be a very capable backup for him as shown last season.
