I think both would be great real life friends but I think ronaldo would be a bit more problematic due to his insecurity. Could get defensive and feel intimidated if you one up him at something.
That's why he doesn't want to be friends with Messi. :mou:

There's a reason why he doesn't have any close friends and why all his ex team mates talk about him in the way they do.

If you want to be friends with this guy , you need to lick his ass 24/7 so he doesn't get upset about the most random stuff. You could beat him at some shit card game and he'll be passive aggressive towards you for the next year.

Messi on the other hand doesn't give two shits and is chill. There's a reason his closest friends from the glory Barca days followed him to USA.

When this lad was winning Ballon D'Or from vote recounts/extensions or winning CL ties with offside goals and fake penalties (Bayern at Bernabeu 16-17, Juve 17-18 at Bernabeu games), his fanboys weren't screaming "Fake award" or "rigged cup".

And now having an all time spastic fit over Ballon D'Ors (which even Messi doesn't care about lmao) and WC

In 2013 he had 0 trophies and straight after his game vs Sweden , Blatter reopened the votes for the first and only time in history just so that CR would win.

They all shamelessly celebrated that stolen Ballon d'or knowing what really happened.

Honestly, I hoped that at the end of their careers, they would go and play for the same team.
As a football enthusiast, it would have been fantastic.

Damn, CR7's clutch knockout stage stats in the toughest competition in the world are fuckin insane.

Ronaldo 48 G/A in 49 quarter/semi/final matches

Messi 26 G/A in 41 quarter/Semi/final matches

Ronaldo 42 Goals in 49 quarter/semi/ final matches

Messi 20 Goals in 41 quarter/semi/final matches

The undisputed king of the CL for real.

Messi is an absolute monster and one of the greatest to ever do it.

But even the great Lionel Messi falls well short of CR7 when it matters the most in the CL despite having a slightly better supporting cast according to Barca fans(Xavi/Ini/Busi>Kroos/Mod/Case, Alves>Marcelo, Ney/Sua>Benz/Bale).
