Damn, CR7's clutch knockout stage stats in the toughest competition in the world are fuckin insane.

Ronaldo 48 G/A in 49 quarter/semi/final matches

Messi 26 G/A in 41 quarter/Semi/final matches

Ronaldo 42 Goals in 49 quarter/semi/ final matches

Messi 20 Goals in 41 quarter/semi/final matches

The undisputed king of the CL for real.

Messi is an absolute monster and one of the greatest to ever do it.

But even the great Lionel Messi falls well short of CR7 when it matters the most in the CL despite having a slightly better supporting cast according to Barca fans(Xavi/Ini/Busi>Kroos/Mod/Case, Alves>Marcelo, Ney/Sua>Benz/Bale).

Ronaldo's knockout stage numbers are from another galaxy, there is a reason why he has his own table in cl :pique:

Haha, loved the fact that nobody took the bait. Grande, Barcaforum.
Bait? It was his birthday and the great man deserves the tribute.

No clue why you're seething at the mention of some facts. CR7 is the undisputed CL king. I mean look at these stats:

Ronaldo 48 G/A in 49 quarter/semi/final matches

Messi 26 G/A in 41 quarter/Semi/final matches

Ronaldo 42 Goals in 49 quarter/semi/final matches

Messi 20 Goals in 41 quarter/semi/final matches

Now repeat after me: SIIIIIUUUUU!

It isn't anything special really. That list sorts players after dribbles completed. Ronaldo played a lot of minutes so naturally he'll have a lot of dribbles completed. Success rate of 53% is alright, like Zaha and Sterling as you can see.
And that list is from 2009, I'm sure Ronaldo had higher success earlier than that. List was more to compare Messi, Ney and Hazard.
Also funny how CR7 fans are quick to highlight headers even though Messi has one of the most iconic ones in a big game…despite his height

It's about consistency and a large sample size though, isn't it?

You wouldn't ever say Messi is strong in the air coz Messi headers are very rare. CR7 has many many iconic dribbles filled with flair and skills but we all acknowledge Messi is a better dribbler because he does it regularly and consistently?

Don't understand what you're trying to suggest here?

You have to admit though that in terms of attributes, CR7 is very complete? I can't think of any particular skillset CR7 is not great at?

CR7's passing (not sideway pass assists to Benz or Higuain or Bale on the break as RM used to play) is average at best.

His dribbling was good but inefficient at ManU, average in his prime at RM, and mediocre since 2016 onwards.

Don't know how this equates to a "complete player"

You're comparing his passing and dribbling to the greatest passers and dribblers ever.

CR7 was a great, great dribbler until 2015. His dribbling at United was sensational. In his early United days, his end product was inefficient not his dribbling. Used to fly past opponents all the time. Great tricks and skill moves to entertain the audience too. Stats show that he's the 5th best dribbler of his generation which is great in general?

Not the best passer ever but still has the most CL assists ever and lots of assists in his career. Always been a great crosser of the ball since his early days.

He's a very well rounded player in terms of attributes. That's not up for debate. Shooting, Dribbling, Heading, Crossing, Passing, Weak Foot, Strength, Pace, Height, Tricks n Skills, Penalties, Free Kicks, Long and super long shots, Mental attributes: he has it all?

Messi is a top 2 dribbler of all time alongside Maradona and has one of the best final balls in his generation(not the best passer overall because specialists like Pirlo, Kroos, Scholes, Alonso, Xavi, KDB have immense passing range and variety which Messi doesn't because he's a forward; older Messi has great vision and final ball which is a different style of passing).

I hope you have time today KL

He used to fly by opponents with his dribbling so much that he had 1 goal in 12-15 games v Ashley Cole at United. Anyway, we all know the game of you bozos. Not interested in "debating" this - after all, the discussion was Hazard, Messi, and Neymar and you lot started to twerk for CR7 as per regularly scheduled programming

Yeah the conversation was entirely about the likes of Hazard and Neymar and I made my points clear about both.

You responded to Fati's comments on CR7 being an exceptional dribbler for his height by saying this:
Also funny how CR7 fans are quick to highlight headers even though Messi has one of the most iconic ones in a big game…despite his height

I schooled you and exposed your terrible take by stating the skills CR7 has displayed over his career in great detail. Gave examples and rational arguments to support my points. Objectively appreciated Messi for all his qualities in the discussion without any personal bias or disrespect.

That's when you remembered that you can't compete with me in terms of Football knowledge and resorted to your template cope:

You didn't have anything rational or logical to reply to my posts because I mentioned simple facts which can't be denied.

So glad to have "bodybagged" you in yet another debate. Easy work. Game. Set. Match. Comprehensive W.

You do realize Fati brought up CR7 in relation to Messi and co first, which you yourself point out. Andresito even responded to it before I did.

But aye, if you and Fati want to keep twerking in concert like a pair of entangled CR7sexuals, by all means
