CR7 has better CL KO record than Messi, but he isn't killing Messi there.

CR7's record is 67 CL KO goals, Messi's is 48 or 49. Third best is Benzema at like 28 or 29.

But on the World Cup stage it's 11 - 0 in favor of Messi and including Copa/Euros, it's 28 - 5 in favor of Messi, which is like a 5 times difference lol. That's called killing.

Okay wow. It's closer than I though. It's not so bad.

What a beautiful downfall after so many years of acting like a peacock.

Even more, satisfying is seeing his fans coming to reality but still trying to find some stupid data to keep him relevant.

Portugal have never made it past round of 16 in euros until SIUUUUR7 rocked up

You can't choose your international teamamtes unfortunately
:hahaohwow.jpg:
Figo and old crew dragged them to 2004 final, where they lost to Greece. After that C.Dog could never replace that leadership and they were struggling. They won Euro16 thanks to him being on the bench yelling. Can't score international goals unless they're against Latvia and Gibraltar. His CL record is nice, but imagine Messi playing in the team that can easily win CL without C.Dog just next year after he left.

What kind of logic is that

Same as saying madrid flopping right after he left vindicates his legacy

:lol: You can't win the CL every season (that's not called flopping).

Fact is, RM with mostly the same core (Modric, Benzema, Kroos, Casemiro etc.) had the following results after CR7 left:

R of 16
R of 16
SF
W

Meanwhile, CR7 without RM's core managed...

QF
R of 16

Clueless talk again, Cristianigician.

Portugal have reached the semis at Euro 1984, defeated in extra-time after a thriller of goals. Many here will remember Euro 2000 where Portugal reached the 1/2 finals with peak Figo (still at Barca at the time). Again defeated in ET after a penalty by Zidane.

That 2000 Portugal squad was their strongest by far and played fantastic football. They were unlucky to face the French football at its peak.
