Playing 90 minutes risks injury and it's not like there is some special record he could break by playing. It's pointless since Real Madrid are 2nd in the group no matter what. Ronaldo is just desperate to outscore Messi in any competition. Anyone know where I can see a stat of how many shots he takes tonight? I expect around 10.

Competitive players always want to play the full 90 minutes. You don't have to look any farther than Messi. The risk isthere, but CR always took these risk tbh, it's not the first time. Remember him playing the full 90 minutes against Sporting last season, right before the important April clasico, when he was on 4 yellow cards and was at risk of missing the clasico? So, no, you're just looking too much into it because the player in subject is CR, nothing more.

If they dont deserve to be in the cl then it should probably just be the top 8, Ajax is a football education that has brought the world many great players, plays with youth players and sticks to their style eventhough its tailormade for Real.
