Are you kidding me? They outclassed and outplayed City, the EPL champion. They just have the misfortune of every year being grouped up with RM and another strong team, effectively sentencing them to 3rd place. 2010/2011 it was Milan, 2011/2012 it was Lyon who finished 2nd only by goal difference after thumping Zagreb, and this season is better left unmentioned.

They beat Psv last saturday and they are still candidates to win the cl, they cant keep talents cause their best players are bought every year.
They play cl for the money basically, I do a agree that they are stubborn, they dont want to adept and go ultra defense yet stick to their own style eventhough its foolish against Madrid, similair to rayo when they play Barca.

There's no other freekick specialist playing now, as Alonso isn't called up and Ozil is benched. Modric is better at delivering crosses, not attempting a shot at goal from a freekick. And it's not his fault Benzema is too much for Ajax's defenders, is it?

Thats not really what I meant, it just looks Real gets way more free kicks than other clubs, then again im biased so I could be wrong.

No you're not wrong, They get more because ronaldo falls down with nearly every challenge that is in a good position for a free kick, I know i sound like a typical hater, But that's the truth.
Simple test, Go to you tube, And type anything with ronaldo and 'doesn't dive' or anything in that meaning, Yes you guessed it, You won't find anything, Now if you did that to messi, You'll see many good entire completions.

You could've gone the straight-forward way and just state "Messi is special." Because what you said is RM gets all of these freekicks because Ronaldo dives after every subtle touch. That's neither legit nor relays what you intended to say.

I didn't say 'every subtle touch', Ronaldo is a clever player, He knows when there is a good chance to score if he continued or it's a dead end and a free kick is better.
If we supposed that suddenly messi got the ronaldo's 'mentality' to the free kicks thing, Will it be illogical to say that our FK stats would get much closer to RM?.
That's the reason why i brought messi into the matter, It's because the different 'mentalities' between him and cristaino that makes up that difference in the 2 club's FK stat.
It looked bad to you because i said ronaldo dives more than messi, Instead of messi dives less than ronaldo, Even though it's the same thing.
