Since Ronaldo first joined Utd I have watched every single game of his bar maybe 8-10.

I see him scoring at least one goal in most of these games (except the two games against Sweden), but him scoring 2 in every game is a stretch for me. Unless he is given a PK every game, :lol:

Let's hope he will pull out his Israel performance for the rest of the year.

Not getting fussy over whether he is on fire or not (and speaking of that, I am not saying he is on fire every time he scores a goal, but he has been extremely consistent and prolific lately, not counting the PKs, something I did not see earlier this year), just a basic observation of how CR7 is treated by many of our fellow Cule forumites here. He is what he is.

I wouldn't want Messi or other our beloved Barca players to get the same treatment. All I am saying is, if he is good, let's say it. Does his overall good performance get tarnished by a PK goal?

Everyone knows he's good, but you are on a Barcaforum. We don't go around praising Madrid and their players here very often, just like Redcafe don't harp on about Suarez and how good he is playing.

Rawk don't spend much time praising Van Persie and co. So your wasting your time trying to get everyone to kiss Ronaldo's his ass.

Ronaldo is playing great this season but his goals are not winning trophies for real madrid just like last 4 years. Every time they will take legue lightly( with one exception that too it is our mistake) and go for their la decima which is not happening for almost 10 years. At man u he use to win trophies and at RM he disappears in big games like he did against barca and atleti this season(even messi did). He still do not deserve ballon d'or imo, he has not won any trophies(which messi won and was the most important part of the 100 pt feet) and scored more goals only because of 2 injuries to messi.

Either ribery or messi should win ballon d'or no way i could see ronaldo winning even though if he scores 5 goals next game. First let him get portugal to world cup which is not at all easy. All those people who are saying ronaldo deserves ballon d'or this year should seriously think how much he contributed to the team. But if he continues this form and win a trophy for RM he will be serious contender for ballon d'or next year. Form vice he is the best forward so far and ahead of messi equal with ibra and costa. For me ramsey is the best player of the season but ronaldo also did very good job until now.

messi and ribery have not done more than ronaldo this year to deserve it.

The game is a team game, not ronaldo's fault mourinho was too much of a moron to build a winning team.

Hes scored more goals than messi has scored against madrid in the past 3 or 4 years? ( not saying hes scored more overall in clasicos incase of misunderstanding)

Has scored braces against bayern munich, performed well against juventus, scored against dortmund, united, city...get real here son.

^ well i am talking about this season. His 2nd half of the last season is better than messi i agree. Messi may not deserve it buy ribery sure does. I don't really watch much of real matches because i don't like how they play. He is on level with messi overall but i just don't think he deserves ballon d'or this year.

Contribution to the team means how much he inspires the team to win matches. Goals vice his contribution is better than messi this season but that did not stop that from losing two key games does it?. Don't count juventus they were really bad in europe this season 3 draws and no win.

Those games will not play a role in the Ballon d'or voting as the voting finished the 15e of november i believe.
