Edit: I just read AS' headline too. Wow, this is just sad. First time I've really been exposed to Spanish bullshit. How can these guys think nobody would notice? Everyone is aware that the award is totally made up. And for Marca to conveniently leave out Messi winning the Best Player, basically the biggest award, just so that it will look like Cristiano won the most prestigious award, if you can call it that, is nauseating.

Marca probably wont ever acknowledge it . Its like when Deulofeu won the golden player at the 2012 under 19 euros. Marca 'confused' the golden boot that Jese won with that and didn't even report they were wrong and that Gerard was on the Uefa official website and the golden ball was sent to him after the tournament like it is in every edition. Some Madridistas till this day believe that Jese was the MVP of that tournament because of Marca's deliberate misinformation.

I dont know why people are getting worked up about this. Its not like its the first time its happening. I always expect them to be biased and im never disappointed. Do you think Messi cares about this. He's off recovering and relaxing in his homeland and Matias Messi is probably having a laugh about it. We dont need their recognition and approval.
