3th goals against Dortmund in a 3-0 victory.
The 4th and 5th goal of the 5 goals against Bayern over 2 legs after everything was done and dusted.
4th goal against Atletico via penalty when everything was done and dusted.

11 of his goals were scored after his teammates mowed the way for him. Another 3 goals came in an easy group stage tie against Copenhagen. You really have to question how influencial he was for Real Madrid's Decima.

In the Copa del Rey he didn't even play the final which his teammates won without him against Barcelona.

La Liga he didn't influence games against Barca or Atletico in both legs which ultimately saw Real finishing 3th behind both.

World Cup was lol.

Certainly don't think Messi deserves the Ballon d'Or for his last season but yeah, Ronaldo didn't really light up the world either although "Decima" and "17 CL goals" make it seem like that.

Of course his record was statpadding in some way, big records often are. Messi scored 14, 5 of them came against leverkusen? Or his 50 goals in the league. Still very impressive, but it was statpaddig also. I think Ronaldo actually had a better cl campaign the year they went out against Bayern, where he only got 12 or something. Messi had a better cl the time he scored 11 or 12 when they won it in 2011. Over time people remembers the numbers, not the significance of each goal.
I do somewhat agree, the last few months of the season he didt look very impressive at all, but scored his usual goals. His 3rd goal against Dortmund however, was very important, because Real was absolutely awful in the return leg.

His hunger to score is unbelievable, he is the only player to make a run like he did with the 5-1, with a scoreline of 4-1 and 90 minutes played.
