We have witnessed Messi playing well on both possession and counter attacking situations, but I wonder how Ronaldo would fair if he was implanted into Pep's Barca or Bayern?

His strengths certainly lie in his incredible movement off the ball and his desire to scores goals, however I find a lot of people make the mistake of thinking he is a better finisher but inside and outside the box, which really has never been the case.

I often find Ronaldo to be on the periphery of games but still always among the goals. I also find that he isn't the catalyst for his team, i.e. he has to be fed constantly by his team-mates.

Still be far the 2nd best player in the world in recent years though, and I think his mos recent Ballon Dor was well deserved.

There is some talk that Flo wants to sell Ronaldo at the end of the season if things continue to look dire. 30 years old, problems with ego, knee injury...I think there might be some truth to it if offer comes that is big enough.

Thats kind of ungratefull. perfect moment though for him to be sold though, teams like United or psg would love to break the piggybank for him with a record fee.

Sure, CR7 won two players of the year in a row. And he deserved them. His team did pretty well, too.

But, now, Irina is gone. Post-Irina CR7 does not seem to be quite the force that with-Irina CR7 was. Which is not surprising. This is quite a boon for Barca.

Here's the thing about the whole 'knee problem.' If it was a problem at the world cup then why didn't he come off when Germany had them beaten? And why didn't he come off a 3-0 for Atletico?

He Madrid are winning 5-0 at the weekend will he come off??? You can bet your house on it that he will play and try to get as many goals as possible. If his knee really is acting up then he will come off when the game is secure, if he doesn't then imo it's BS.
