Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

When you stop being a winger in few games it's called tactical adjustment .. not a position.. SAF loved that as a sort of element of surprise
.. Ronaldo was still attacking from the left side all the time not close to the box as he was with Real in recent years hence the goal difference between his United days & his RM days...

he hasn't been a classic winger since 2007. in that games he was deployed CF in the rest he way playing the free roaming ss role he has had in madrid for 5-6 years.

Free roaming "Winger " that's his position yet he love to hang on the left & move inside as always... he was barely a classic winger except his first few years..if you can call him that..
for me CR is & always will be a goal scoring winger except last year +

Just compare Ronaldo with United to Ronaldo with Madrid and see which one is better ? even forget United compare CR first season with CR third season in RM ?
... he matured & got better & smarter, his finishing & heading and movement improved.....and he was also the focal point in United and he will continue to be wherever he goes
he won't dribble like before although the notion of stopping a dribble that is always a stranger to most of the EPL defenders.. in Spain they leave you no space compared to England.. and space is the magic word ...that's what he thrive in just look at Liverpool match against RM last season

.. moreover if you get Ronaldo (and not PSG or something ) he will be the man in the front not the winger you had during SAF days ..

Ronaldo was hardly a winger during his final seasons at United, He was more of like an inside forward drifting in at every available opportunity..I don't think he improved that drastically after leaving us because he was already close to his peak during 2007/08 season but he started scoring 60+ goals after Jose came up with the system to get the most output out of him and your teams after Jose also continued with that approach....

Nah, Ronaldo was definitely a winger under Pellegrini at RM in 2009/10. His role changed later on.

No he wasn't. In 09-10 we played 4312 or 4222 and he was mostly a SS. It's true that he roamed all over the pitch but he wasn't a winger. The last season he was a winger was in 06-07 his breakthrough year

He definitely was. Not exclusively though. In the 4-2-2-2, Higuain and Benzema often started together with Ronaldo on the left.

stop pretending that you actually watched our matches. Benzema was poor in his first year and our attack was Ronaldo-Higuain. VdV or Kaka behind them and a line of 3 composed by Xabi Lass and Granero. Benzema, Higuain and Ronaldo played together when we were behind. Ronaldo was injured for around 2 months in winter-spring and our attack was Benzema-Higuain

I did, and it's funny how you ignore that I said he wasn't exclusively a winger, but he did often play out there. Sometimes on the right even.

Ronaldo was quite entertaining in his first season for Madrid, and a bit in second season as well. He dribbled quite well and had a few nice solo goals.

It's an old vid no ? I remember seeing something about CR dressing up like a homeless guy in the street and offering a kid the ball on Marca like 3 or 4months ago.

In b4 cristiano cures cancer in september
