Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

There's only 2 types of usual football related injuries which could sideline him for 6 months. ACL tear or fracture. I'm pretty sure he has neither. He'll be fit at the start of the new season.

According to BBC CR7 will be out for a really long time, at least until 2017, due to his knee injury. If this is true and if Messi activate the GOAT mode until November he will surely win Ballon d'or.

No, he won't. Because the pictures of CR dramatically rolling on the floor several times, crying, lying like a dead man on the stretcher but coming back to 'coach' and inspire the team from the sidelines to overcome the odds against the clear favourite France will be burnt into the collective consciousness. CR 7 to win this in a landslide. BD is not about who's the better footballer, but who produces images for people to remember. Sad as that is.

Messi can score hattricks of goals and assists every match, but he won`t win B Dor...anyway is an overrated trophy... This is year is over, media is too strong.

I don't know why but the way he shouted at one of his teammates to get back on the pitch with that pissed off face of his annoyed me.

If you are done with the lecture on statistics.... I would like to suggest you to check how many times the media imparts all the statistical analysis of a player to the general public. It only happens occasionally! If every individual, Ballon d'Or voter, looked into the entire statistical analysis, CR7 would never, ever enjoy the kind of popularity that he does! I don't know if you have heard "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."

The word statistics that we used did not deserve your lecture, it means the same as the one in the above quote does. Your word statistics means the complete statistical analysis and the world never takes enough time to look through the complete statistical analysis. It only looks at what's the most talked one is, unfortunately in our world, number of trophies won with NTs or in CR7's case number of FKs he scored or headers or goals he scored to downplay Messi, when you actually do the complete analysis Messi has better ones as far as the FKs are concerned or goal scoring rate is concerned

Oh thanks, maybe I should run around and tell ppl how good Ronaldo is and that Messi is worse than Maradona because indeed, he's never won a WC? I am aware that none of those those fucktards on ********* and similar websites do know anything about statistics above goals scored and distance covered. However, u can't deny that football analytics has somewhat made its way to pro football and that elite teams are hiring statiscians to support their decision making?!?! In a couple of years no one will argue by WCs and int tournaments won alone!!!! Especially if football is based so much on luck and team ability!
