Improvin' Perfection!!
Oh thanks, maybe I should run around and tell ppl how good Ronaldo is and that Messi is worse than Maradona because indeed, he's never won a WC? I am aware that none of those those fucktards on ********* and similar websites do know anything about statistics above goals scored and distance covered. However, u can't deny that football analytics has somewhat made its way to pro football and that elite teams are hiring statiscians to support their decision making?!?! In a couple of years no one will argue by WCs and int tournaments won alone!!!! Especially if football is based so much on luck and team ability!
Well, it's not just about those stupid websites either. Even so-called pandits do not speak much more than goals unfortunately. Having that said, yes statistics is indeed finding its way into the pro-football. I don't think we have to see much further than our own club and how Lucho is utilizing the technology to measure players fatigue etc by making them use the trackers, and I am pretty sure it has a good role in him making one of the shortest squads perform very effectively in set-pieces in the country, close to the best in 2014-15 actually. Also the websites like whoscored.com are actually using advanced statistical theories to rate players effectively by counting the number of key passes they would have made, etc. and then using an algorithm to come up with an accurate measure of their importance to the match.

But it would take time for stuff like this to reach the pandits and it is the said pandits who are actually influencing peoples opinion on a player's ability, more so than those stupid websites anyway. And I don't really have very high hopes on that happening though, considering these stupid pundits most of the times are actually people who live with their head buried in the sand! I mean the pandits are full of ones who spew stuff like But can they do it on a cold rainy night in Stoke!! Basically, because stupidity has no bounds

Man Utd fans with their collective orgasms is the funniest thing today.

this x100, no one on redcafe is criticizing the poor performance of their soon to be 120 M man and instead are "chuffed" for cristiano in an underwhelming final in which he didn't even play a quarter of the time.

6 weeks is tolerable, will not miss many games if its something like that.
Hard to specify if he actually tore it (lateral ligament). If he did, he is out for few months with surgery. If only strain, then 5-6 weeks.

If its ACL, its probably by by for 8 months at least. But its probably not ACL...

They partly dont critizise it because they think United has unlimited money. They have huge amounts of money, yes, but if they keep at it like the last few years and little success, it will change.

Would you sell Ronaldo for 120m to Utd if you got the chance? I know he is a marketing beast, but still...in 6 months he is 32.

Maybe, and they would perhaps be desperate enough to do it, seeing as they do anything to land Ramos, Neymar, Mueller etc each year despite having little chance of it. They look like fools. Idk who to replace him with, Barca and Atletico players are off the table. But for that amount, i would probably still do it.

Him standing next to the coach and doing the show for the camera remind me of why i hate his face since his man u days.. sublim footballers.. prolly the third best player i have seen since i started watching football in 94.. but his ego driven antics are on some next level shit.

Messi will be 31 in 2018, so if he wants revenge, its time to do it in a much bigger competition than this crappy Euro, really, after seeing this tournament its pretty clear to me that it shouldn't be a big deal to win the fucking World Cup when all Europe looked like this dump hole, all he needs is ambition and convince El Loco to send Higuain home after the semifinals.

Their worship of him and hopes he returns after 7 yrs is both pathetic and hilarious.

I can't believe he has an international trophy before Messi. In 1 year from now, hell even an hour after the game, no one remembers CR barely played the match but that he raised the Euro trophy for Portugal. Their first. Life is not fair but oh well.
