Im just using my own hyperbole here. Whether you like it or not, the comparison between the 2 ballon dors are similiar. 2012 Messi had the superior stats, but not quite the trophies, a year later Ronaldo had superior stats but not the trophies. That is all. Im not saying that one or the other didnt deserve the ballon dor that year or the other, im just pointing out the obvious similarities.
