Barca fucked Real with Neymar and Suarez.

Works both ways.

Barca are not entitled to first chance on every good player going.
True. Yet big fuck up should be avoided like not buying a good CB for years, not taking in account an upcoming transfer ban, and all.

I don't know if Danilo would have been bought without the transfer ban, but at least we would have stand a chance to sign him. Right now we haven't.

And I'm afraid we will face a horrible summer because of that transfer ban, full of disappointments.

Confused.

If we're going to believe the papers, we also beat out Real for Halilovic and Rakitic. And then passed on Kroos.

The Kroos one was strange.

At time is was said that Lucho didn't want him but I think there was an element of going a hostile bid for a Bayern players would make all Barca players fair game of Pep. Even the starters.

Seems to be just me, then. Sorry.

Won't make any more comments, just say I'm personally not into that.

Don't get me wrong. I wouldn't wish injury or something like that on him. Just hope that he fails to impress his new employers.

No one asked you to cheer on them.

But hoping that he will fail just to prove your point is not what I call an argument.

As I said, if you're right next season, I'll be first to come to you and admit I was wrong. Till then, I don't see any reasons to wish for him to fail.

It was a side comment and I already proved my point with dozens of arguments that you seem to have either ignored or not read at all.

I don't care if I will be right or wrong. This is not some chemical engineering assignment. I am just stating my opinion while you are busy throwing the word "butthurt" around and talking about DL, Marquinhos (not comparable examples as I explained) whom I have never even commented on.

Rest assured that either Carvajal or Danilo will become the back up as they can't play at the same time. Now if you like me and most RM fans believe that Carvajal and Danilo are similar players in terms of current level, potential (let alone having an identical age), both fighting to cement their starting places for their respective national teams, both are in a period of their careers were they NEED to play as much as possible to develop etc. then you too would reach a conclusion that says that 1 of them will become the loser on the long run and waste his talent on the bench mostly. Similar to what happened with Coentrão who is very similar to Marcelo too and from the same year (1988) moreover. A player that was bought for 30 million euros and who has stagnated (not reached his potential) and who is now looking to leave.

As I wrote earlier then it would have made much more sense to sell a 27 year old Coentrão (identical age as Marcelo) for instance to replace him with a 20 year old Gayá who is the future on the left back and who would develop into the substitute of Marcelo on the long run.

Objectively speaking then moving to either FCB, Man Utd, Bayern (clubs that could actually need a competent right back and who would almost guarantee him constant playing time if he did not flop) would have been a much better choice than moving to RM who have Carvajal. A great player who played a key role in RM having their best season in over 1 decade in his debut season.

Anyway let's agree to disagree but throwing that "butthurt" remark around whenever somebody disagrees is really silly. As I told if RM bought Hazard tomorrow and kept Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema I would not become butthurt but rather laugh my ass off due to their stupidity.

Once again having 23 world class players in your squad and equally as strong players on each position is something that has NEVER worked and will never work. It's a FM fantasy.

Nor has this anything to do with FCB or the needs of our squad that I have not commented on in this thread nor denied.

P.S: Not wishing success to a RM player is totally normal in any rivalry. You see the exact same behavior from Spanish RM fans. Rest assured of that. If in any doubt then I can quickly prove this to you while providing plenty of links in the process. Lastly when I said that I hope that the "situation" will end as with Coentrão/Marcelo I thought that it was evident that I was not thinking about anything else other than not fulfilling potential/wasting one of the players on the bench mostly. Nothing to do with injuries or personal problems.

Not my way of thinking sorry.

In rivalry I wish for one to do better than the other, not one to fail.

The best rivalries are both persons/entities in top form with one just doing a little more to end up victorious.

And I don't care about what RM fans think. I don't decide on how to be or act based on them.

Same about the Marseille fans in France (marseille and psg have a big rivalry mentality too)

Anyway let's agree to disagree
Fine by me. We reached the same point as when we discussed Verratti's future.

Only time will tell.

Off-topic now (as was your post);

So I guess that you look forward to watching RM at their strongest as a team and all their players in every single game as this would make the overall victory "sweeter"? That must be the conclusion after reading your post.

Hoping that player x or y, that RM in math x or y won't perform to their best abilities is completely normal and it's called rivalry. Nothing to do with a strange mentality or wishing a player injury or personal problems. That's how 99% of all fans operate especially the ones of us that are passionate.

This logic works for me in sports where I am neutral. Such as tennis.

There was no "hostile bid" for Kroos. He was not sold because of buyout clause or something like that. He wanted to go out had just one year on his contract and Bayern decided to cash in on him rather than to watch him to go for free. There was possibility for him to come to Barca, but Lucho wanted Rakitic, because of his LaLiga experience HE DID NOT WANT another experienced midfielder, because that would have blocked our young players like Rafinha and Suarez. Whether it was a wise decision, we shell see. But we could have had him, if we wanted.

My dream?

My dream league would be RM and Barca being both in top form the whole season (no injuries, all players at their very best) and the victor to be decided by a 1 point difference right at the last round.

And yeah same for the classicos. I always prefer for example when both clubs are at the top of their form with no injury. It makes the victory (when Barca wins) even better.

Dude, you can be like you want btw. I don't ask you to change. I just explained why I disagree. And I never said that my way of thinking is the best. No worries.

This is as unrealistic as having 23 star players in your squad and 2 players of a similar level on each position.

I want RM to lose every single match if possible. With all due respect then you are talking like a neutral.

I never mentioned anything about injuries and already said that I don't wish injury or personal problems for any player regardless of team. This includes RM.

But failing due to own failures? Sure as hell for God's sake.

Never said such a thing. Each to his own.

:facepalm::facepalm:

The only good RB available on the market and of course we let him go for Real. Another player who we'll regret not having signed in a few months.

Instead we'll probably try to "bring back home" Bellerin and overpay in the process.

The notion that he is "the only good RB available" is nonsense. He's just the only one being hyped and linked with Barça. Seen him play a couple of times now and he never impressed me, if Braida or the next director know their stuff we'll get a better RB for less money.

A dream is what it is, a dream. Chill.

With all due respect I don't care what you think about me

Not the first time I won't be seen as a true fan because I am not thinking like most fans.

Again, no worries. Let's agree to disagree on this too ;)

Fabinho for example is being hyped too to be fair, and he does less good than last season when he was not hyped at all.
