A dream is what it is, a dream. Chill.

With all due respect I don't care what you think about me

Not the first time I won't be seen as a true fan because I am not thinking like most fans.

Again, no worries. Let's agree to disagree on this too ;)

I am completely calm. I have been calm all the time. Not sure why you are telling me to chill 2 times in a row? I never went personal.

Yes, anything else would be strange. Surprise, surprise I can only say the same.

I was just telling you that you are part of a small minority (based on experience and data) and that I mostly connect that type of thinking with neutrals. For instance that's how I react when I watch sports where I don't have any party that I support.

Yes, sure. After all we are here to give our opinions and if we all agreed then there would be little point of discussing anything.

Where is Fabinho hyped and how does he less good?

He appears in short list now. Like in MD. More people are talking about him too.

And as I said, compared to his last season, he does less good.

That said to be fair, he's part of the ones that were totally lost when Jardim arrived with his new style and tactics.

People are riding on Monaco CL's results, but it's not this year that Fabinho is at his best.

I thought that Fabinho was doing well this season hence all the reported/alleged interest from dozens of top clubs. He has also been a regular in the Monaco defense. Arguably their strongest asset this season. He was also recently called up by Dunga for the Brazilian national team for the first time ever.

I don't see any hype. In fact if you make a quick search on Youtube there are hardly any videos of him. Many, many football fans (even those that follow other leagues than their own) still don't even know who he is.

Whenever I have watched him this season (granted I don't watch Ligue 1 that much nor Monaco) he has performed well. Whether in the two-leg tie against Arsenal or in the few top games in Ligue 1 (against Lyon and PSG) that I watched.

He has decent stats according to WhoScored as well.

If anything Danilo is the one that is/was hyped. Many fans were mentioning his name already years ago without watching more than 3-2 of his games in total. At most. Now he has been proclaimed as the "new Alves" and the second coming too.

I watched Monaco league games last season and this season.

And I can say that Fabinho last season under Ranieri was better while not making anyone short list at the time.

IIRC I was the only one talking about him and Kurzawa last season here

Kurzawa is also good btw. But same as Fabinho, he was doing better last season.

I am just telling you that this is not the impression one gets based on rumors in the media and alleged interest in him by dozens of top clubs. Something that was largely absent last season. Nor did he get called up by Dunga last season. WhoScored also rate him highly this season.

So it's hard to believe that he has not further developed as a player or that he is "hyped". If anything as I told then few people even know who he is and if Youtube is a benchmark then he is pretty much unknown.

One should not forget that Fabinho is over 2 years younger than Danilo.

And I am telling you I am not talking about rumors or reports but about games I fully watched.

Believe what you want, really. I'll be honest, discussing with you is starting to become annoying. You always want to have the last word. You have your own opinion. It's ok. I'll leave it at that while continuying to watch monaco games instead of looking for rumors and reports.

Btw I didn't mean he became bad. Just that he should have been hyped last season too. Last season I tried to create hype here about both Fabinho and Kurzawa and it failed, but both are good.

Maybe it's time for me to tell you to relax a few times.

Yes, shame on me for questioning your claim which makes little sense based on the solid arguments that I have put forward. So you are telling me that you have watched all of his 35 games this season so far? Or even half of them?

The point is that there is hardly any hype. Look at Youtube, take a look at major football forums on the internet (most don't even know who he is) etc. A few rumors in the media are not going to change that.

Your premise is wrong and I was not the only one that reacted on it.

Also which last word are you talking about? You made a claim and I posted sources/told about facts that tell something else. I was solely questioning your initial claim as it does not go well with what I mentioned. That's all.

How can I be right or wrong (no that I particular care) when I have not put forward any claims when it comes to Fabinho?

Reading this thread would make you feel that Danilo is the reincarnation of Alves in his prime while he irl most likely won't even get anywhere close to that level, or be fit to tie Dani's shoes.

No shame in that ofc, because I doubt most current RBs will ever get close to that level either, Alves was THAT GOOD.

Yeah I don't think we will find someone who would be like Alves in his prime, but it's very possible to find someone like Alba, fast player who makes frequent dangerous runs to support the attack, another headless chicken, but on the right flank:)
