Darwin Núñez

According to reports, whispers and ITK stuff, Nunez is a Klopp signing.

Apparently, he's supposed to be a striker Klopp really wants to work with. Klopp rates the raw tools the lad has and thinks he can groom him.

The club will therefore agree to fork out a bit extra money to get him.

Front 3 will look something like Diaz-Nunez-Salah

Subs will have Jota, Bobby, Carvalho and another new face I believe. We're linked to Nkunku too.

Diaz-Nunez-Salah it will be for 22/23
but what's next after 2023 when Salah will walk as free agent?

What would be the Klopp trio until '26 when he will be heading out?
Will you snatch Raphinia that we are not able to pay and go for a Diaz-Nunez-Raphinia trident?

Not from what is being written.
FSG are only willing to give him 15-20% wage increase, whereas he wants close to 100% wage increase and match KdB money at City.

Not happening...

Reckon they will but Raphinha is the one they have been linked with.

Salah replacement will be bought next year. Raphinha, Anthony, Bowen have all been linked. Let's see what happens.

Hear that his first touch is at Andy Carol level.

True. To many unforced technical errors per game.
Thats is way he is suited ofr total football.

But again, they declined 80mil euros last season, and now they are selling him for same amount after season with 40goals?

Barca would need to pay 120mil plus bonuses.

This is a crazy price. Suarez was recommending this kid for years (along with the chap that moved to Granada and has better raw tools) and we slipped up.

Too late now, but not for the Granada kid as they relegated.

There is also a guy named Agustin Alvarez I've already talked about some time ago. He was linked with a move to Europe in January but is still at Penarol for now. Raw but liked what I saw from him, also has 4 appearances for Uruguayan senior NT and scored vs Bolivia in his debut.

He doesn't have a good season for now though so could turn out to be the next Adolfo Gaich once he makes a jump to Europe but for a low price (probably around 8-10m) still worth a gamble. Don't think he's ready to jump straight into the first team but could send him on loan for a season and see how he develops. Which we could do if we sign Lewa and keep Auba around as a backup for next year. Then we let Auba go and he could return to learn a few tricks from Lewa. Don't think we'll go this way but you can never go wrong with Uruguayan strikers with their determination and hunger for goals imo.

Some good goals. Obviously not the highest level of competition so also some questionable defending but looks composed in front of goal and I also like he can score goals different ways - poaching, longshots (including FKs), headers (although he's "only" 1,80m),...

We should completely disregard the opposition. It doesn't matter if it's Uruguayan Liverpool or English Liverpool. A good player is good against all teams, at least that's what I've been told.

I called this brother the south American Lukaku, about to look like a right muppet if he succeeds at Liverpool.

Hopefully he flops because I hate Liverpool.
