10 years ago was still under laporta and yes i would. pay that for villa and Henry because they helped us win 2 cl and how many leagues titles playing big big parts,

rosell may not have any disaster but he has had no truly great success either, maybe masch but that's it.

Ronnie was bought only because Laporta didnt get his favorite target Beckham.

I think we could have spent those 120m euros on other players than the two of Villa and Henry, capable of doing better than what they did for us to win what we did. Henry and Villa were players with their best years clearly behind them when they were bought.

We bought huge number of players under Laporta. Debt skyrocketed and flop ratio was around 85%. So far, we have bought 7 players under Rosell which have played a huge number of games for us and been important.

Alba has been the best transfer we have made in at least 5 years. I like the way we are buying players with their best years ahead of them, not the way we used to do it.

firstly song and neymar were not good deals from transfer fee point of view song is worth like 13 mill max.

song, cesc, adriano, sanchez have all been meh at best thus far laporta signed players that had a big impact on the pitch no denying are arguing about that

Song was bought for 15m pounds, which is a good price for a star in his prime from England. Impact on the pitch? When Rosell took over, our team was packed with La Masia stars. Our transfer policy has been to accomodate our stars. Its been a success.

you can think what you want the facts are that the contributed big time

85% flop rate lol
higher debts lol, high debts yes but do a bit of reading regarding that subject

rosell has signed players that. have been fine to excellent(masch)

laporta signed a bucket load of players that together with our canter helped define and era in football and at our club. to say he was bad at transfers. is way off, i would much rather give laporta and his team 100m to spend than rosell and his team has he would give us more bang for our buck

Wow really weird to see him in "other players". Guess since he's been here since I've joined the board.

no laporta brought in players to truly compliment our masia stars rosell bought some good players that has not added much to the team with a few exceptions which is way we are now getting beat by every decent team as the laporta after effect is coming off and we are starting to see more of rosell's hand, but maybe neymar can change this

Was Rossel not the man who got Ronaldinho?

That was the transfer that kick started it all!

Laporta was in control for possibly the top 5 worst transfer deals in football history.

Transfers went completely downhill after his inauguration period. His second period was disastrous. Topped off with the money laundering deal of two Brazilians for more than 50m that no one wanted including the coach and never played a single game for us.

The era was made as a result of la masia. thats our style, thats our heart. no top club comes even close to having an academy like us.

Yes, Rosell brought Ronnie (Laporta wanted Becks!) and Rosell was responsible for most of the initial success in 2003 and 2004 markets. Then it went downhill fast.

Or the alternative reality is that the great team built while Laporta was there was down to la masia stars hitting their peaks at the same time under one of the greatest managers ever. While now that manager is gone and some of those la masia players are on the decline.

To start defining that era as being based on transfers of Laporta is just changing history.
