Barçapocalypse NOW!
Wow really weird to see him in "other players". Guess since he's been here since I've joined the board.

Actually I came to check his thread and didn't find it in players section and was a little confused until I realized he's gone now, hahaha...

We all knew he was leaving, but it still hurts even if I don't think he's a Barca Legend, and it's especially sad that he left being valued so low...

To start defining that era as being based on transfers of Laporta is just changing history.

You don't think Ronaldinho and Eto'o were crucial in defining that era? Or bringing in the likes of Giuly, Marquez, Belletti, Larsson?

Do you also not value the decision to install Rijkaard as coach and sticking by him when people were calling for his head the first season? Or the decision to pick Pep over Mourinho? Or the trebling of clubs revenues?

The funny thing though, is that even Laporta himself doesn't take credit for the transfers, he gives all the credit to Txiki...

Good Luck Legend!

his stats are very good! Barcalona should abstain from buying center forwads. no point in destroying a player's career by not playing them in their natural position.

Very nice move for Villa. Hopefully he will be able to show what a marvelous striker he is in a team where he should be given the chance to play in his favoured position.

It's been a privilege to watch him play for Barca, possibly my favourite striker of all time besides Henry. I will always remember his goal against Man Utd and his 2 against Real Madrid in the 5-0.

God speed Maravilla.

Almost all the success players were bought during Rosells time in the Laporta administration. The fact that Laporta doesnt give any credit to Rosell is because he hates him. Compare Rosells administration with Laportas administration without Rosell to make a meaningful comparison and the difference couldnt be greater.

It was all about his salary so good this to get rid of him imo and make space for new players. Although he kinda old for a top player and didnt show his old class after his big injury so its kinda fair to me.
