Good to see him scoring goals again. Other than the bad misses, I don't think he's been THAT bad, but he definitely needed to score. MOTM in this one I thought. That 2nd goal especially was vintage Villa.

If Messi was as frustrated with Villa/Alexis as Villa was with Diego Costa yesterday, this forum would go on and on and on about how Messi's personality was fake, how he lacks respect and how he had gotten full of himself.

It perplexes me at how people make a big deal about players yelling at each other.

It's part of the game. The closest of teammates always have a go at the other if mistakes happen.

But because it was Messi and Villa people had to make more of it than it was.

Yep. It seems to me as some people expect players to communicate like this on the pitch: "My dear fellow and team mate, please pass the ball to me when I'm free in front of the goal rather than shooting from a tight angle when there is like 1% that your chance goes in. With respects, your humble team mate".

That way the games should have an extra 30 minutes so the players can "respectfully" communicate with each other throughout the match!
