Dmytro Chygrynskiy

Looks like the majority of this forum have found new scapegoats in Chygrynskiy and Maxwell..

Dunno what's wrong with Maxwell, he's not done anything spectacularly wrong, and you can't expect 2 wingbacks to work.
Csiga on the other hand has been quite bad, but we have to stick with him because we don't have many options. He will surely adapt, pique needed time too.

He wasn't actually that bad tonight IMO. There were some poor moments where his decision making isn't coordinated with his slowness. But the blame for the goal lies at Pique and Alves feet. Pique has actually been below par this season too. He hasn't returned to his immense levels of last season, although overall he was solid tonight.

The thing is I've noticed Pique was awful in every game he played with Chyg. There are 3 ways to explain this

1. Coincidence, Pique is just in bad form.
2. The two are horrible compliements for each other.
3. Pique has to cover more ground due to Chyg's immobility, hence more room for mistakes.

The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.

Chyg didn't do that bad today, still slow and clumsy but his challenges are getting better, his passes are getting much better and he is reading the game better.
